Devon was just so nice and even patient since we had so many questions about the process of measurement, how the pattern should be laid out and the finishing pieces. After dealing with the lower grade flooring at a "big store" and having the manager have an attitude he didn't care and really didn't listen to us, was going to charge us for someone to come and measure, turned us off. Luckily we got a sample with the phone number on it which led us to Devon who was so uplifting just sold us on your product. We would buy stock in it if it were available.

"Do you buy the floors directly from Cali Bamboo. They charge restocking fee and you have to ship it back to them. Floor will scratch very easily. No one wants to see scratches all over the floor. Floor was even scratched while installation. And every single thing dropped on it will leave its mark. And in couple of months your floor will need a refinish. But you can refinish it easily too. Customer service will send you a marker to fix the scratches which will not work. Stay away use regular wood. And don't use this company"

"I love the floor. The texture and color variation in the Mesquite are awesome. Two things bother me. First, some seams are separating about a 16th of an inch. I can take the blame as an install error but I was careful to check as I went and am a woodworker by trade, not clueless. The second is due to the first, If the body of the planks were a color that blends, not grey, it would be less of an issue. I'm debating whether or not to pull it back up or not before setting my cabinets."

"We spent the extra money for bamboo flooring thinking it was the best. What a mistake! It was installed by a professional and looked good for about 2 months. It started expanding; he came and cut it back. Then the seams developed gaps and buckling. The local company who we bought from did nothing and my husband spoke with a Rep from Cali Bamboo in California who said it was our climate here in MO. Why do they sell it in a local not suited for their product? Bamboo grows in a hot, humid environment; why would MO weather cause expanding and then shrinking? We have made numerous contacts with little care from the company. We have had no further contact with anyone from CA or locally. This floor came with a 50 year warranty...what good is it? What else can we do? This was bought from Stone Mountain Flooring in Cape Girardeau, MO. We still have buckling and gaps."
