"I have now attempted 2 orders with this company for 2 different items. Both times their website showed plenty of stock but they later canceled the order saying they had no stock. Problem is they did nothing about the website and it continues to show inventory. On the second order I even called ahead to speak with a sales rep and confirmed that they did in fact have the part. When I followed up to make sure the rep advised me that they had sent an e-mail telling me it had been cancelled but that the e-mail bounced back to them...odd that it would do that since I recieved the original order confirmation without any problems. Now they say that they have in fact found the part and are going to ship it to me overnight at their expense. I will update this post if they can manage to clean up their e-comm site and take care of this order properly. "

"Excellent service - professional, courteous, and prompt. I needed a motherboard for my Dell E-510 desktop. The sales exec (Ben) too the time to verify the part was in stock and explained what "refurbishing" might entail. He kept me informed through email when the board shipped, estimated arrival date, and followed up afterward to ensure I was satisfied. I ordered 2-day shipping and the board arrived by 8:30AM on the 2nd day - I couldn't have been more pleased with Calhoun Technologies.

"This is the second time I've done business with Calhoun Technologies. A year ago or so, I had to replace a hard to find HP psu, got one from Calhoun Tech and it was defective. I called them back, they had another sent out immediately; the second one failed and a second phone call and a third one was sent out immediately. Third time was the charm...still working today.
Now last week I had to order another HP psu (same unit), I was sceptical about ordering from Calhoun Tech. because of the issues I had the first time BUT the service I received was great so I ordered again. "I found the website for Calhuoun Technologies very user friendly and easy to navigate which is always helpful and desired but one thing they can improve on is keeping a current inventory data up to date; when I placed my order it showed that the inventory was available and in stock but after about a half hour or hour after I placed the order online, I received an email informing me that the items I placed on order were not available so I had to do another search on other sites to find the items I needed and had to order elsewhere."

"This was the first time that I purchased computer accessories via the internet, and I was, frankly, nervous. Would I be receiving some sort of fake equipment that would damage my precious laptop? (I am a freelance writer, and my pitiful income depends on my computer functioning.) Would it take so long that the failing power cord would finally give way and leave me with no computer at all for weeks? Would the vendor send it mistakenly to my home address rather than my husband's office (where a receptionist could sign for it)? Would the vendor insist on putting my name on the label and thereby make the mailroom think that the package was a bomb?
