incompetence and dishonesty

"I ordered some Christmas cards early October. This is now early November and.....nothing. I sent an email and they replied that "we are vey sorry I never received my item. We are now sending a new one at no charge." I tried to track my order: impossible.
If I don't receive by the end of this week, I will cancel my Paypal payment.
DO NOT BUY FROM THAT WEBSITE.

Sent wrong size shirt, and ignored my efforts to return it for a refund.

"This company's Customer Service is abysmal! They sent me the wrong size of a shirt I ordered, which I absolutely cannot wear. And, I have had no success reaching anyone by phone (on hold for over 2 hours!!) or by email. My sense is that I just threw $30 away ~~~ DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!!! "

Looks like I’m not the only one

"Ordered two hoodies, a little less than $100, for a family function. They say they shipped and that UPS delivered it to my local USPS. I wait and then realize that was on December 8 and it is here over a week later and USPS still says acceptance pending. So I go to that location physically and see if I can pick it up, the lady there says according g to USPS records, the items are STILL IN OHIO!!! What is wrong with this company. "

The dumbest shipping policy on the planet! Intentionally delay your arrival to match their expected date.

"One would think that shipping would be a very simple thing to do with an in stock item. Well it is with almost everyone but CafePress. So I order a cap in 12 January 2021, it says expect it 29 January 2021, which is fine. I am figuring they are making the cap. 14 January I get an email saying my order has shipped. Of course I am pretty darn impressed that it will be here much sooner than I expected. So I wait a few days and nothing. UPS even on its worst day isn't this slow. So I look again and see it is shipped UPS Mail Innovations Expedited (PSLW). So I go to tracking and see it is sitting at the same UPS facility for days. So I call UPS, and come to find out CafePress is paying a super budget price and items are delayed in shipping to meet their projected date. Finally I see where UPS has turned the mail over to the post office an hour down the road and I'm thinking, finally it will be on its way. OH WAIT! That was a week ago. Guess where it still is? Yep in a Wait to Be Sent To Servicing Post Office Until.... bin. So as it stands an item ordered 12 January and en route since 14 January and help at UPS and now the USPS should be leaving Charlotte, NC the 27th for delivery the 28th or 29th. Sooooo do you think I will ever use CafePress again or recommend them? NOT!!!!!!!!!!! Now to add salt to the wound .... you go online and get this chat option and probably should be suspicious because you are #8 in line. You finally get a Customer Service (??????) rep whom you ask what kind of shipment policy do they even have and why. The answer, "Well your estimated arrival date is 29 January, we won't discuss the matter until after that date." Okay, at 72 years of age, being a retire Vet and been in more states and countries than 99% of the world population and this literally takes the cake and prize for how NOT to run a business and respond to customers. Did I happen to mention I will NEVER do business with them again? Okay good. I haven't changed my mind.

Do not buy from CafePress

"I ordered a custom mug for $14.99 and expedited shipping for $15.99 as a very special Christmas gift.
It came on 12/14 but the lettering was all messed up. Smeared, missing letters, etc
I needed it by 12/16
I emailed them to replace it and the response was “they would respond in 5 days”
So I opened a chat this morning and all they could say is they could replace it by the 28th! No way to expedited production or shipping!
All I can say is they just really **** and have no concern for customer service.
They did not even respond to my question of if they have a QA dept or how this even got out the door. They just closed the chat!
Do not order from them!!!!!

Terrible!!

"Ordered T-shirt on the 21st of the last month. On the 24th, I got an email saying it had been shipped. Tried tracking it for days. Shipper said they never received it. Wrote to customer service asking what happened. Today, the 10th, I got an e-mail saying they had cancelled the order with no explanation offered"

If I could give them NO STARS, I would

"Wow! The tshirts were not high quality, but we didn't expect that. We wanted a commemorative t-shirt to be delivered during the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic that prevented us from using our regular printer and handing out the tshirts at our event.

The imprinting by Cafe Press was dreadful, and their quality control was appalling. They either didn't LOOK at the shirts before shipping them, or they looked and didn't care that there were spots all over the design. One of our customers complained, was offered a replacement at no charge, and the replacement had the SAME problem. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

I wish I'd looked up reviews before using their service.

Dissatisfied Seller

"Years after I closed my store I found out that they were still selling and making money off my merchandise. So I closed it a second time and again I find out that my store was not closed and they were still selling me products. They claim to have sent money to my PayPal account but I never received one cent.

I tried to get them to stop selling, to forward me whatever money I have coming to me but they just give me the run around. After weeks of trying to finally close my store and succeeding they tell me that since I closed your store I have to go through a different process to get my money.
Unbelievable!!
This has taken way too much time to resolve,a sdcc imple issue. I calculated from order reports that they put together and shipped I downloaded that they sold $3,000 worth of my products and have yet to see any money from those transactions. Unbelieveable!

Horrific and expensive

"Be warned, Duties & taxes not included with purchase. Ordered before from USA and seller always adds this in the price. Now paying for item, shipping and duties. About £70 for one set of pyjamas (and not even the **** kind where the price will be worth it). Don't be an idiot like me. Avoid CafePress like the plague."

Un-peronalized Hoodie.

"Hopefully this post will prevent others from falling victim to this company.

I ordered a personalized Hoodie that wasn't personalized. Because of timing constraints, returning it and receiving a replacement wasn't an option. I had it personalized at an additional cost and was looking just to be compensated for that cost ($10.80)

I was informed that that can't be done.

Really! they provided a defective product service by not personalizing it as advertised and I have to go through the inconvenience of having it done at an extra cost and CafePress doesn't feel they can compensate me for that additional cost.

Wow, poor products and poor customer service. How do they stay in business. No repeat orders from me.
If this wasn't already gifted, I'd return it for the full refund.

Custom T-shirt

"Ordered a shirt for my husband with his classic car on the front. Cafe press canceled my order via email stating that I violated their terms. Apparently you can’t put a picture of any car that someone else has. It’s a classic car, that was the point. When I inquired as to why, I received terrible customer service as they couldn’t even explain it. Also your content terms are awful. I will NEVER order from cafe press again. "
