"Great. Karina Gonzalez, the site director has been phenomenal from day one, and is caring and attentive. My only wish is that the school had a meal program and could provide lunch to the children."

"Our general experience has been exceptionally positive. In an ever evolving and increasingly challenging year the whole team at ChildTime Long Beach has been a critical source of support. We know that both of our children are in a safe and caring environment and the quality of the overall experience has been consistently high. As a family we weren't sure what to do when our daughter's kindergarten went virtual for the school year, but ChildTime stepped in and came up with a creative solution for us and a few other families facing the same challenge, which allowed us to keep both children in the same place throughout the day. I don't want to single anyone one out for fear of leaving someone out, but the entire staff should be commended for the hard work and dedication they put in everyday to create a safe, caring and stimulating environment in the toughest of circumstances. We are truly appreciative and don't know where we'd be without their continued support."

"Childtime has been amazing for my kids. They have been attending since they were 5 months old and we have no complaints about the quality of care and education they have received. The directors and teachers are loving, kind, and enthusiastic about their jobs. I am so thankful and recommend all parents to consider this location!"

"The staff are attentive and friendly, the teachers are great. But the fact that my son hardly ever got sick prior to attending this daycare to being sick almost every week after returning home from daycare brought up many concerns. My son got hand foot and mouth disease. While he was out of school for about two weeks from getting this virus from the school we still had to pay. If they do not attend than we should not be responsible to pay. Life happens and you should not hold your clients to this financial burden in the circumstances of unforeseen life events. Just due to the fact that my sons gets sick so often I am waiting for the optimum opportunity to move him to a different daycare for the above mentioned reasons."

"The first 3 years were outstanding as my sole focus was a learning environment that was meeting the physical needs (cleanliness etc.) and the social and emotional needs of my child. The staff is VERY loving and nurturing. Now that my child will be 4 very soon, I am looking for more structure and routine. There doesn't appear to be a dedicated space for children that are 3-4 and they are moved between a room for 2 year old children and those getting ready to leave for Kindergarten. This lack of space most likely impacts the a dedicated routine. When I speak of routine, at this age, I'm looking for a daily conversation about the days of the week, the month and year, the seasons, daily practice on the writing of their name. Recognition of what is a first name and last name - daily routines that are embedded in preparation for Kindergarten. I'm certainly not looking for homework packets, but I am looking for letter and number recognition. Not mastery of these concepts, but a daily effort to start enforcing these principles. I see that there are lots of experiments (how does this substance react with substance and what happens when this touches this) going on, which is great, but a consistent interplay with practical academic concepts should be incorporated. All in all, I can't imagine a better place to leave my baby, but now that he's getting older and we're moving closer and closer to Kindergarten, upping the ante on some key academic concepts is super important."

"Overall very good daycare. Great location. High cost compared to similar schools, especially since many schools include food in tuition"

"Satisfied overall. However, I'd like to see consistency/normalization of the quality of teachers across the board. We've experienced teachers who perform the bare minimum (e.g. they're just present) aol the way to all-stars."

"It has been great working with Childtime! I don’t feel worried about my child when I drop him off to school and I know he will be taken care of. In addition, the curriculum is really helping him to be prepped for kindergarten."

"More shade trees in the playground. It’s very hot back there during the summer. Food provided for children ADA access into building Please reduce amount of fees charged in addition to weekly tuition, ie registration, summer program, etc. Please provide compostable plates and utensils. School uses styrofoam, very bad for the environment. Or allow children to use their Tupperware from home. Wonderful teachers & directors Love the summer program, soccer and Spanish classConvenient location Diverse classroom and staffMy children are happy and thriving at Childtime"

"I love this school because of the individual attention my daughter gets; this encourages her to learn and empowers her to try new things. The staff are all very loving and great at communicating! They are always in a great mood, and also pay special attention to the belongings of my daughter as well; which isn’t a requirement for me, but an added bonus. Also, the curriculum focuses on the correct building blocks for a private school entry (pre-K or Kindergarten). Needless to say, I’m very happy to have found a place where they love my daughter and provide a great learning environment for her!"

"We’ve looked at other locations and their programs are more diverse, but we stay because our child loves the teachers and staff and we don’t want to disrupt that. It’s just started to feel like and overpriced babysitting service."
