"Mixed feelings as in the beginning the teacher interaction and learning was great. Over the year and especially the past year have deteriorated to being a expensive babysitter. I hate this as my kids have made good friends. The advancements we make at home deteriorate once at school. There are some great people there but that’s a small subset these days I hate to say."

"The Pre-K program with Ms Latonya is excellent. I don't have any concerns here. She is excellent. My child has learned a lot and I know the children are disciplined for bad behavior. However, my other child has been attending school age program throughout the summer, and I do have concerns with this program. There is no structure or schedule to the school age summer program. There does not seem to be any real discipline. The kids have way too much time to spend on electronics. And, the facility is becoming really dirty, especially in the school age area. The teachers seemed to change over the summer, and some are not as friendly. I am not sure if I will bring either child back for the summer program again."

"This survey has been difficult to fill out because at times I had to answer the questions to pertain to one or another child. It would have been more helpful to have this separated by level of program (EPS, Preschool, Pre-K, School Age). Also, I want to say that the EPS, Preschool, and Pre-K teachers are AMAZING! Ms. Marina (EPS), Ms. Courtney (Preschool), Ms. Cindy (Preschool/Prek), Ms. Latonya (Pre-k), and Ms. Aubrey (Pre-K) are all very good teachers and I feel confident in their educational abilities. They discipline with a calm, confident manner. I also really love Ms. Crystal (Assistant Director) and Ms. Tessa (School Age Program Director). Both have been very receptive to any issues that have arisen and taken care of it. Ms. Kristen, our new director, however has not been. I recently had a meeting with her to raise some concerns - which there is no space to go into here - and she immediately was trying to question why I hadn't gone to her sooner and tried to poke holes in my comments. Her abrasive nature has limited her ability to lead the school in a calm, confident manner. I addressed her lack of approachability with her, which was met with resistance and I don't believe she understood what I was saying. Her response was that as director she needs to be the bad girl (her words, not mine) in order to keep some of the school aged children under control. I found this philosophy very disturbing as that is definitely not the case. One can set up rules and consequences (both positive and negative) in advance and calmly follow through to maintain order. It is unnecessary to yell or be abrasive with children. I also have concerns about the amount of discipline training (or lack thereof) that the school aged program teachers are receiving upon hire. I feel like more positive-approach discipline methods need to be implemented & taught to both the director and the school aged teachers (the EPS, Preschool, and Pre-K successfully implement it already)"

"We just switched over from another location due to teacher preference and director preference. We have been extremely happy with our decision to switch over and everyone has made our transition for us and our child easy!"

"We were excited to start our son here. Then the problems started. Sometimes I feel management at the school doesn’t do enough to handle my concerns. But, there’s always hope that things can change for the better"

"Kids seem to run wild on their own more often then being part of a controlled learning environment. With only one caregiver for 12-14 kids. They spend a lot of their time updating the tablet for Brightwheel and cleaning up."

"We absolutely love this school for our daughter. The atmosphere and friendliness of the director Lauren sold us on signing her up.She is always cared for by her teacher Courteney and we always have great communication with the school on the week, my daughters day, updates, menu, any accidents and we love seeing pictures and videos of all she does. My other children go for back up care and parents night and always love the staff and what they do. Akayla takes great care of them most days. We are always greeted in the morning by Lauren, Tessa, Crystal and the morning teachers by name and when we leave for the day, it's so comfortable and like a family! You can tell they love your kids, grow great relationships and my daughter has learned so much! Summer camp was the best with water play, events/activities each day and visitors. Everyday was exciting! I am grateful with how comfortable they make us feel even on the rough mornings when she needs comfort and wants just mommy.AMAZING!"

"I find the staff to be friendly and I feel that my child is safe when there. The children seem to get along with each other. I really like the video app that allows me to check in on my child throughout the day. It gives me peace of mind and creates an added layer of accountability. There is also a separate app where alerts are sent to me when my child eats, goes to the potty, naps, etc. That is very helpful. My kid has fun there and has never made me feel like anything inappropriate has ever occurred. They have great activities for the kids, especially over the summer. The staff is full of very nice people. Nobody is rude and most of them seem to really like children. That said, there are things that I don't like so much. My child has received two minor injuries while in the day care. Bumps and bruises are fully expected but I didn't appreciate the way it was communicated to me. They didn't call me or send an alert through the app. They just gave us a piece of paper when we picked up our son. If my kid loses a drop of blood, I want to know about it right away, not at the end of the day. Although it was just a minor injury, the language in the incident report understated the situation by saying the skin wasn't broken when it absolutely was. We had to make them provide an updated and accurate report to us. My wife and I spoke to the Director about each of the incidents and to our surprise, she told us both times that she didn't know it had even happened. That doesn't inspire confidence at all. If it's serious enough to write up an incident report, the Director should know about it. There also always seems to be a staffing imbalance. I imagine that's somewhat inherent to the business but it is annoying when my kid is bounced around or has to split time between rooms to accommodate."
