"I typed in the filter number for my Kenmore humidifier, and the Buy-It-Now-Store item at Amazon came up as a search result. I ordered the filter, and it arrived promptly. The box did not indicate that it was appropriate for my model humidifier, so I opened my machine and, indeed, it was the wrong size. I contacted Buy-It-Now and they told me how to return the item. Within the week they notified me that I would receive a credit from Amazon. I asked for a refund of my return shipping charges (as it was THEIR mistake), and was told that they do not reimburse shipping costs. Stay away from this vendor!!"

"I wished I had read the reviews before I ordered from these thieves. I ordered a replacement part for my Hoover Steam Vac. They charged me for the replacement part plus shipping, but sent me a different part which prices 52% less. Not only can I not use the part, I cannot receive the one I paid for because I did not contact them within 30 days. I should have opened the box immediately, but I didn't. I didn't need to clean the carpet at that time, but now with the holidays at hand I thought it'd be nice to have fresh clean carpeting.

Buy-It-Now-Store: "We do apologize for the error on our part. But unfortunately you have passed our 30-day mark of contacting us. We ask our customers to contact us within 30-days of ordering if there is something wrong with their order, this information can be found on our policy page. So unfortunately we will not be able to help you at this point."

Really? Come on now! I certainly understand policy and I also adhere to them. However, there's a time when good business practices should also play a part. Now that I have read the many reviews, it sounds like this is exactly how they conduct their business. This was a mistake that I (nor anyone I come in contact with) will never make again. Lesson: Don't do business with Thieves. Lesson Learned!.

"Ok. It's very easy to see the pattern here. The reviews are either 5 stars or 1 star. That only means one thing. The 1 star are real customers, and the 5 stars... well, you guessed it: They are paid for.
Now, I almost never write reviews because most of the times there are limitations on the number of characters to be used; and I like to explain everything in great details. Anyways, let's get to the point: As many of the previous customers that wrote reviews here, I also ordered an item from Buy-It-Now-Store.com through Amazon.
Guess what? I also received the wrong item... Get it! they do this to almost ALL their customers !!! If you have some time, PLEASE read the other reviews and you will find out that nobody complains about items of bad quality, or too expensive or bad customer service or shipping related issues. NO! the majority of the reviews are complains of customers who received a wrong item!
That makes sense right? That's the reason why there is no 2, 3 or 4 stars comments.
The item I received has nothing to do with the one I ordered, Not even the shape or size or color nothing !!! Come on Buy-It-Now-Store.com customers like me will never order anything from your store again if there is no improvement on the way these type of issues is handled.
If you are another customer who also happen to receive the WRONG item, please take some time and let these people know, post your comment. Otherwise they will keep doing it to those regular customers that trying to save some time and some extra bucks (ordering online) end up paying twice the price... That is not fair.
I bet you that to compensate for this 1 star comment, two more are going to be added right after mine with 5 stars...

"I Received the wrong kit/item. I Asked to exchange a part, but I was denied, and instead the only choice they gave me was to purchase additional parts. Ordering from this vendor was a mistake, It's too bad I didn't read the long list of negative feedback prior to purchasing... Next time I'll buy appliance parts from Sears Parts, GE Parts, or other reputable company."

"Need some grill plates for my Charbroil grill and didn't want to pay $100 or so for new ones. Found generic ones at the Buy-It-Now-Store for about half the price and figured I'd give it a try. Even though the ratings of the store were a little low for me, I figured that my order was pretty simplistic and worth the risk.

I placed the order on Saturday, May 7, it shipped on Monday, May 9, and I had delivery on Wednesday, May 11. The grill plates were as I expected and are working fine.

I would definitely consider ordering from here again.

"This store can't get it right. I placed a very simple order for a few filters. They sent me one item and left out 5 others. When I emailed them, they were surprised. Then they said they would send the missing items but it turned out they didn't even have them in stock. After waiting 2 weeks, I received 4 of the 5 missing items altho the enclosure said everything was included. They don't even know what gets shipped once you place the order with them. Buy from someone else."

"Bought replacement foils and cutters for my electric shaver.
Merchandise shipped promptly and well packaged.
I have used their unbranded foils for about a year. Quality is OK; one plastic notch attaching foil to body broke after 2 weeks of use, but still functional and did not rust or break.

"I ordered an electric shaver foil replacement for a Braun. It was a free shipping item, however they tacked on a $4.51 for shipping. There is no phone number or email contact that responds. Have viewed many other negative reviews since. Would not order anything from this company again. Surely not a to grow a business.

"Ordered 3 hot tub filters on a Tuesday night, they arrived the following Saturday (within 4 days,FedEx, Kansas to Sacramento). This store had by far the best price, so I was very suspicious. Even more so after I ordered, because my windows email program flagged the confirmation email as in red as a phishing email. This store is aka MarBeck.com. "

"I ordered some vacuum cleaner filters, they sent the wrong thing, does not match the description or the picture of what I ordered. I emailed them and they say, no they sent the right thing. After another email they offered to take back the bad item but won't tell me their return policy, i.e. who is going to pay the postage both ways. I am very disappointed with the company and in the future will stick to Amazon, eBay, and brick-and-mortar stores where satisfaction is more assured."

"DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE!! Have gotten nothing but a runaround, they claim that ONE item is "out of stock or backordered or whatever" but they refuse to ship the other items while waiting for that item. Apparently that is what they tell everyone. My emails go unanswered. I'm sure I can kiss my $65 goodbye. In future I will NEVER order from anyone but Amazon, Sears, CSN, Overstock, etc."

"Very Slow Shipping! Uses Fedex Dumbpost..
Choose ebay instead. Most ebay sellers use USPS which is much faster than the Fedex Dumbpost service this store uses. They charged $6.95 and the scheduled delivery date is a week and half after ordering. Kansas City to Denver shipping should not take that long. To get from KC to Denver it went to St. Louis and is still sitting there for two days. I ordered on Oct 25, 2009.

Update: My post office received it on November 2nd, but they gave me a "Postage Due" notice for $5.70! No reply to emails from Buy-It-Now-Store.

" Ordered water filter cartridges that they had on sale. Recieved a email back saying that they were out of stock and that they would ship them as soon as new stock arrived.
After a month, I emailed them and asked the status of the order and recieved no responce. Three more email sent with no responce. They had already billed my Visa on June 2 for the total amount.
Since they have no contact information other then a email address, I researched the web and found that the company that owned the website is a company called Mar-Beck Appliance parts & Service.
I finally recieved an email from them advising that they are going to cancel my order and would credit my credit card. As of today I have not recieved a credit for the purchase.

"Hi,
After reading all the reviews here, I decided to order from Buy It Now. I ordered a replacement beater bar for my Dyson vac. and a replacement burner for my old Maytag stove. The order was placed on June 19 and I received them today, June 25. Both parts fit perfectly.

I just want to mention a few other things. After reading the bad reviews, I'd like to tell you about some changes. First of all, it says, at checkout, that they are Mar-Beck and lists the website. The website has 2 ways to contact them, by phone(for placing orders but I'm sure they can direct you to the right person if there's a problem with an already placed order)and they also have an email form. They may not have used to send a tracking number, but they sent me a working tracking number along with my order confirmation email. Shipping charges are reasonable as well. It appears that they've fixed the problems that so many complained about in their reviews. I'd order from them again in a heartbeat! Finding replacement parts for a 15 year old stove wasn't easy till I found Buy It Now $tore. By the way,the beater bar (brush roll) for my Dyson vac....Dyson wanted 29.99 plus 6.95 shipping for a real Dyson part. I ordered what they call an "aftermarket" for 15.99 and it fits right on and works perfectly, the only difference is the color.
