I was looking for a retailer with a black Microsoft Intellimouse Optical, and BuyPCDirect was my last hope, as they were the only ones to have it in stock. Their six-month rating was appalling, but their lifetime rating was good, so I decided to order one from them. The ordering process was easy, and the shipping was very fast. The mouse came on the earliest possible day of the rate that I paid for. Overall, I'm very satisfied with BuyPCDirect."
"I use a unique, disposable email address for each vendor I order. I have just gotten a phishing email to the address I have reserved for BuyPCDirect. They are either selling email addresses (against their policy) or are not taking proper care to protect them.
The parts I ordered came in good time and were as advertised but I worry about the credit card I used with them if they can't keep my email private. "
"It took 3 days to ship the item. I paid for UPS 3-day select, and they shipped using the cheapest service (USPS).
I emailed them asking for a refund on the shipping charges, they never responded. Be warned, I will never purchase from them again."

An email was then sent that same day stating the order was canceled. No longer available. Upset I still gave them a second shot. I ordered a different case bundle Jan. 06. Order was for two of them. Today 09 I get an email from them stating: We have currently run out of the keyboard, mouse, speaker that comes with this case bundle, would you like us to offer you a 10% discount on your order. Or would you like to cancel this order. I had to cancel. This is by far the worst vendor I have ever dealt with in my 16 years of buying off the web. My advice to all. Don't bother ordering from BuyPCdirect.com. I personally would not try and do business with this vendor again. 04-16-06 After this raiting was given I had several fraud charges on my credit card. This place was the only one I used that card on. Watch out! It is now under investagation."

"I placed my first order with them based on all of the positive ratings here. I ordered a 500 watt power supply that their web site states has a UL approval rating as well as a number of others. According to UL any product that they approve MUST HAVE the UL label on it. Not only does this product not have any UL approval labels, it doesn't have any of the other ratings their web site states this has. It's just a scam to make a crappy power supply seem like a good one so unsuspecting people like me will buy them. I call that fraud. I've contacted them and am awaiting their response. I give them a very poor rating based on fradulent data give to me."
