"They were fair in their price determination as the MacBook was in great shape (always had a cover on it) but the adapter was beat up. Only deducted $5 for the bad adapter which seemed fair.
My only issue was during the online setup process it was very unclear if the free shipping label was prepaid. So I originally selected a shipping kit mainly just to get a prepaid label only to find out two pages later the free label is prepaid. They should make it clear the included label is prepaid shipping. "

"So idk what buybacktronics is doing different then their competition but it ain’t it. Sure they sent the money and all that. But I sold 3 things to 3 different places all at the same time on the same day to see how the experience would be.
The first was selllocked the 2nd was buybacktronics and the 3rd was decluttr. Selllocked paid out first only 3 days after the item was mailed. Buybacktronics was 2nd on the 4th day and decluttr was the slowest on the 5th day.
Only difference? Selllocked and decluttr both paid out my PayPal I had to pay no fees and my funds were available immediately. Idk what buybacktronics is doing differently but I had to pay fees out of the money they sent me making the offer around 3% less than quoted but they are the only 1 of the 3 that the money is stuck as pending for over the last week because the transaction looks suspicious to PayPal so they won’t pay my the money out for 21 days now. Mind you selllocked was first.. decluttr was 3rd and the money from them was available immediately and I didn’t have to pay any fees, not buybacktronics, that money is stuck in limbo for up to 21 days now and I had to pay fees.
I absolutely will not use their service again I will choose from the other superior services that pay out as much if not more and send you the quoted amount of money and don’t make you pay PayPal’s fees.. and the most important part is the money is actually useable.
