BAIT AND SWITCH. WHAT A SCAM!

"I will never buy from Bradford again. What a scam! My personal checks only cost me $14.97, but the final charge was more than double the initial cost. Not only was there a $11.80 Service and Handling Fee, But an additional $8.95 6 DAY SHIPPING CHARGE!!! $35.72 total cost!! $8.95 to get my order in 6 business days. Most companies now offer FREE 2 or 3 day shipping. What a JOKE!! I will be going to every REVIEW SITE I can find and tell them my experience with you. You are a BAIT and SWITCH Company.

"I ordered checks and sent correct information and still haven't received my checks it has taken over a month to do they steal personal information and poor customer service will not cancel or refund dont buy from them"

Do not order!!!

"I ordered checks from them, scanned a picture of my current checks so my info was uploaded to their system. New checks came and they misspelled my last name! I called to complain and was told that since the order was placed online there was nothing they could do about it. They made the mistake but refused to correct it. What good are checks if the last name is wrong?! If I could give negative stars I would, their customer service **** and I would never recommend them to anyone!"

Horrible service and customer service!

"I ordered checks for my husband and I. They misspelled my last name and said there was nothing they could do for me. This company makes millions and they refused to let me return the checks and get new sets with the correct spelling. I am very disappointed and will make sure everyone knows! Will never use them again!"

Vast selection of customizable checks!

"This place has it all. They have your typical checks, and they have a wide variety of different designs you can choose from ranging from wildlife designs, patriotic designs, Disney character designs, and so much more! I myself went with their "Call of the Wild" wolf checks, as the wolf is such a beautiful animal and I thought what better way to show my love for them then through my checks.

Unlike others on here, my order process was flawless. Because my shipping address and the address that I wanted on my checks and matching checkbook cover sent to were different, I actually had to order by phone but that wasn't bad at all. The time it took me to get my order was about what I expected, as I knew I had to allow a decent amount of time for my checks to get printed and stuff. So with that in mind, it took me just over 2 weeks to get them. In my eyes, that's not too bad considering that obviously it takes time to make the checks up with all the right information like your bank account numbers and your address. I'm just very thankful that they got things right with the my address I needed on the checks in addition to sending them to my correct current address.

This company will definitely be getting my business in the future as I get close to running out of checks, and perhaps I will also order myself some sweet wolf return address labels to complement my checks and matching checkbook cover. The only knock I have on this company is that the prices are a bit steep compared to other places, but all in all, it's worth it if you don't want to just get plain checks.

"If I could give it zero starts I would.

I ordered checks 2 weeks ago and used a pre-paid debit card. I didn't know that there was an issue with it being processed. I received an email telling me it was processed. I waited the two weeks for the checks and nothing came. I checked the status online to find out it is on hold for payment???? I ask why and I am told "we have too many calls coming into call when an order has issues?"""" Then a supervisor by the name of Dominika ext 3298 tells me that this is an outbound call center and they don't have the capabilities to call when there is an issue. I said the order was $12 I can give you my card now and would have done so 2 weeks ago if I knew there was a problem, but I never knew. This is no way to run a business. I won't be coming back here for anything again that is for sure!

"Three weeks after my order, I received a letter dated March 10 with no postmark date and arrived in NH on March 28. This letter stated I need to call with a credit card number to pay an additional amount three times larger than the coupon sent with my original payment. I telephoned and decided to cancel the order. I received my refund check on April 8, more than a month after the check was sent. FIND A DIFFERENT C. OMPANY TO ORDER FROM....ONE WHO HAS BETTER CUSTOMER RELATIONS. I ordered checks from a reptible company the day I cancelled my order with Bradford and my checks in hand in less than a week, without special handling!"

"I had ordered checks from Bradford before, and everything was fine. This time, however, the checks never arrived. Bradford shipped them UPS with tracking, but the order was handed off to the USPS in my city and all tracking was lost at that point. They refused to refund me for the order, so I disputed the charge on my CC which was removed. They have now turned the non-payment over to a collection agency. NEVER AGAIN!"

"The "SECURESHIP trackable, fast and secure delivery (includes in-plant rush" is not exactly true. I paid an additional $8.95 for the rush and ordered on 1/27. Today is 2/4 and I have not yet received my order. I will not order from here again."

"These guys are a little shady. They upload their "special" pricing for new customers to Google Shopping, and then when you go to their website you find out that "special" pricing is actually only for "new" customers and they upcharge the checks by about 150% from the price you saw on Google.

Nowhere in Google shopping does it say that this is a special discounted price for new customers.... In fact, nowhere on Bradford's website does it say this pricing is for new customers, until you've given them your banking information and they recognize you as a repeat customer...

Bradford Exchange evidently engages in classic bait and switch pricing... Avoid them at all costs... This is not an ethical or honest way of doing business...

"Horrible customer service, don't refund on their error. I have been ordering checks from Bradford for years without any problem. When I received my latest order, I noticed that the address for the bank was not included on the check, only the bank name. I called to have them re-printed, but they said that they are no longer able to print the bank address on the checks. No where on their website did it state that they could not do this. In fact, when I clicked on the preview screen before I confirmed my latest order, it clearly showed the bank address. I said that I would not be using these checks, as I thought they looked unprofessional, and were not what I ordered. I offered to send them back at my own expense for a full refund, which they said I could do. However, I received only a partial refund. Apparently they didn't refund the shipping charges. They totally screwed this up, and they will never get my business again. "

"The good news is that the order was fulfilled, and the checks did arrive. But there were several problems.

The first problem is that the number of checks in each box were about half that from other places I'd ordered checks from. This explains why they were so much cheaper than the other places. On the one hand, I find this somewhat deceptive, but on the other hand they didn't exactly hide the fact. It was up to the buyer to do a better job of comparing the number of checks in a "box". Let's just say their idea of what's in a box and what other places consider a "box" of checks is pretty different.

The next problem is that after ordering four boxes of checks, only three arrived. The fourth did eventually arrive, but several days later. How hard could it be to ship them altogether in a single container? It was an annoyance.

The biggest problem, though, is that I submitted a help request regarding the missing box, and I never got a response. This from a site that says they're very interested in making me "satisfied". That was inexcusable. They get a zero for customer service.

Also, now I keep getting spam from the company, even after continually unregistering from their e-mail notices.
