"This company has multiple issues including but not limited to extremely difficult formatting for searches and rejecting purchases without explanation. I spent days searching for just the "right" ring. If you click upon a specific picture to get a closer look at an item and decide you are not interested in that item you must go all the way back to the first page to begin your search again. I was searching among thousands of rings so being booted back to page one when you are on page 50 is very problematic. I couldn't find a way around this as their search by artist name doesn't work.

The worst problem I had with this company though is that I discovered, by accident that they are baiting and switching. When I found the ring I wanted the site claimed there was only one in stock. Since my payment was rejected (no error on my end as I contacted my bank) I couldn't purchase it. I went back to look for something similar and found the same ring, plenty in stock but now priced over a hundred dollars more then when I attempted to purchase it only a short hour prior. There were also suggestions for other rings at a much higher cost.

Irritated with the company I then decided to look elsewhere and found the same company selling the same ring anywhere from $55.00 to the $220.00 dollars they were now selling it for on their main site. Out of curiousty I then searched for other items which had only "one" in stock, with high priced alternatives and various other higher prices for the same item on different sites. This is not the only item they are doing this with.

"this was the worst shopping experience I have ever had! Never received my item (stuck at customs despite Boticca's grand claims). 15 days later after literally spending hours trying to track down customer services (finally resorting to tweeting as no one responds to phone calls) I have managed to get a refund (although money may not make it to my account for 8 days). But no one at Boticca had the decency to call, apologise and acknowledge that there was a problem at their end- after 4 emails they still didn't know which order they were chasing up, they used the London tube strike as an excuse to not phone me, there has been no attempt at compensating me for the time and energy I have lost and the fact that I had to go out and buy another gift at the last minute as this one never made it. "

"Shipping was a full 12 days after the order date. I needed it here in time to give to someone, but there was no response to my repeated queries about when my order would be dispatched. Clearly some of the support email addresses are still not working properly, but I got no response even after copying in the other support address. I finally got a response after I had received the parcel with the suggestion that I check my spam folder rather than an apology or admission that their service is awful.

"Very poor company. Ordered a necklace back on 6 April and at the time of this email it has not arrived. Emailed to enquire why it had not arrived. Got one not very helpful response. Now they are not returning emails or messages. Recommend that you never place an order with this company"
