Boot Barn sells returned defective boots

"Purchased a pair of Dan Post cowboy boots online from Boot Barn, shipped to store. Tried them on in store. Right boot was considerably larger in length so I returned them right then and there. Went home ordered another pair online, received them via UPS and Left boot had a defect in sole of Boot that hurt the arch of my left foot. Promptly returned to Boot Barn Store on Mercury St for another refund. Looked at boots on the shelf and found my first defective pair I returned had been put back on the shelf. As I'm trying on and confirming these were in fact my first returned boots, the gentleman who took my second pair of boots for return placed the second pair of defective boots right back on the shelf before my eyes. Unbelievable! I made sure to tell him about the defect and he told me he would make a note for the manufacturer to see, assuring me he was returning the boots to Dan Post. He lied to my face. He took the packaging out of the boots, placed a security tag on the boots and put the defective boots back on the shelf for the next unsuspecting customer! "

Should have went to Walmart or Amazon

"Should have went to Walmart or Amazon!

I've never paid over $50 for Shoes. Thought I'd Splurge and Treat Myself to something Nice so I went to the Boot Barn in Bend, 45 Miles away.

They only had size 13, I wear 14 in some and 15 in others. She said she could Order them. I said Great and handed her $150 American Dollars in Cash. She said she couldn't Accept Cash but she could Sell me a Gift Card to Pay for the Boots..1st Red Flag!

Gave her the Cash she couldn't Accept 2 Minutes Earlier. She Ordered them and I Received them a few days later.

Not a good fit so I tried to Exchange them for 14's. They don't make them in 14, just 13 & 15.

90 Mile Round Trip.. And Guess what? They can't Return my Money but they're willing to give me another Gift Card. What a Scam!!! What the hell am I supposed to do with a Gift Card from a Store I don't Shop at, Never have and Never will again?

Gift Card Scam!! Can't Accept Cash to Buy the Boots but they can Accept Cash to Buy a Gift Card to Buy the Boots!?

I was SCAMMED by the Boot Barn for $130 Dollars!!

"I've ordered a few pairs a boots from Boot Barn, and I've yet to be disappointed. Rather, I'm always impressed. Prices very reasonable as well, fair shipping speed options also. I always order, and receive my boots within a couple days, so long as I choose a pair that ships "same day." Two thumbs up! Thanks!"

In Store Purchase 1/RFS

"First, I've read many of the online order reviews and see where some customers are dissatisfied. My only remedy to suggest... go to a local Boot Barn (if possible) or either... don't buy online or use Amazon "Try Before You Buy" if the item can be found there). I have had three in-store visits to our local Boot Barn. The first time... folks were generally very polite... but not too "helpful". Second visit... not sure what was occurring at the register... as folks were there and talking... but no help offered... Third visit... on 8/31/22... excellent customer service. I explained an issue that makes it difficult to find a good fit to shoes, etc., and we discussed pros/cons. The rep was knowledgeable and presented a genuine desire to assist. I will say... wasn't too used to the boots/shoes not in the box... but after thinking about it... I appreciate that these are on the "display". The whole process of unwrapping every pair of shoes/boots for fit/sight review is rather blah... The price was excellent... The sales rep did mark inside tag of the boots after completion of purchase with a red marker... describing the reason as basically for some kind of control for returns/warranty... a bit bizarre... but if it works for the system, so be it. Definitely look forward to shopping at Boot Barn in the future."

Worse EVER

"Went to boot barn for work boots. They did not have correct size but was told I could order online. I went home and the next day I ordered boots online and was pumped..only to receive email 15 mins later saying boots were not in stock. I waited several days for boots to restock and ordered them again. (after 20 mins of trying to pay which should have been red flag then) I received a confirmation number and later that day received a shipping confirmation and tracking number. (free 2 day shipping on 75.00 or over purchase) WELL that was over a week ago and after 3 emails and 2 phone calls later (which you sit on hold an hour each) I was informed that now I have to wait 7-10 more days for them to find out where and what happened to boots! Like its my fault!?!? In the mean time I'm out $132.00 and wearing worn out boots to work! THANKS BOOT BARN!! I have SEVERAL friends and family who shop or wanna shop at Boot Barn. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND shopping there to anyone! BUYERS BEWARE!! "

Don’t drink and drive

"These boots have been the best thing that’s ever happened to me in my life between the comfort and durability of these I’m very happy. A couple of weeks ago here in southern iowa when it was negative 35 with the wind chills I accidentally parked my truck in the ditch and these boots held up for the 3.5 mile walk while giving me so much comfort on the walk. I highly recommend these boots for all occasions big or small Cody James boots save us all. Stay thirsty my friends love you all drive safe thanks for coming and watch for deer and last but not least don’t forget to turn you brights on!"

Boot Barn International Drive Orlando

"Went to this store to purchase western boots. The staff seemed very disinterested in helping me. Almost to the point that I was bothering them. I couldn't find my size and was told that the size I need is not available. I checked their online store and indeed it is available. Why they would not order them to the store for me I do not know. I would not recommend this Boot Barn store to anyone."

Factory reject & double-charged

"Not only was I charged double, the boots I received are poorly made my husband wore them to dinner literally maybe 3 hours and he was sitting down most of that time. Factory defect. I guess what I will call the paint that's on the rubber is peeling off along with the rubber and like its cardboard underneath it. I have yet to receive a response from customer service and I cannot get through to an actual person through the phone line since I received the boots. I have called one of the stores and they assured me I could bring the boots in and exchange them. I am very disappointed with my online ordering experience and the product. I've received. I can understand a system mishap and the double charge but when I get a factory defect and extra money taken from me. Along with not being able to get customer service on the phone or through email..
I have a large mistrust with Boot Barn now. I would not recommend ordering online..

Charged a lot by UPS as delivery not covered

"Paid for delivery on checkout, however when UPS came to deliver the parcel I was charged more than twice as much again. Emailed and got a vague response, won’t be shopping with them again!"

Horrible customer service

"When i went in all the employees were shopping and trying on clothes. Nobody took the time to help me and when i asked a question i was answered in a matter that i was bothering them. Tge manager was nowhere to be found and the other lady lina had a horrible to busy attitude. Was not pleadmsed AT ALL. havent been to one in awhile and now again will not go back. "
