ELEGANTLY BEAUTIFUL.

"Due to my large window my blinds had to be customized, but once the measurements were verified they were made in about a week and arrived quickly thereafter. Once I laid eyes on them I was simply amazed at how elegantly they are."

Paid for motorized blind, got sent a NON motorized blinds, and would NOT refund the difference.

"Ordered a motorized blind. It was delivered damaged, called and requested a regular blinds because they would not replace it without me calling the manufactory. I did call the manufactory, they decided it was damaged and told me they would replace. I called Blinds.com back within 24 hours and they said it was to late, I should read their FINE PRINT of their guarantee.

BLINDS.COM RIPPED ME OFF! Don't let them RIP YOU OFF!

Buy from them if you are missing crisis in your life

"I placed an order on 2/1/2024 for 12 faux wood blinds for my home over the phone with design consultant. Expectations on delivery two weeks.
Email notified me that it will be delayed until 2/16/24.
Got the 12 blinds on 2/20/2024. Called the handyman to come and install and started opening the boxes. No labels regarding which room they belong to.
All 12 of them WRONG. Height and width mix up!!!!!!!
Design consultant apologized for not conforming with me which is which.
I was transferred to customer service to correct the measurements and put a new order.
I asked for money back the representative told me that I have to wait 3-5 business days to speak with manager to get the money?????!!!!!
At this point I went ballistic.
I requested to be transferred back to the design consultant which is by the way acted professional by not trying to blame me. Got back with another representative who repeated that I have to wait because managers have lots of meetings. I wonder what the meetings is all about. Customer service?
Matthiew (manager) finally answered after 45 minutes being back and forth.
No apology, arrogant, sure of himself that he will manage the situation the way is convenient for him.
He said I have to listen to all conversations I had with the design consultant and then he will call me maybe tomorrow closer to end of the day with his decision.
How about that for a customer service? I paid $1000, I waited for 21 days, I called the installer paid for the service call and I was basically called a liar, since what I explained was not enough, he needs to listen to the phone calls. Why not calling your representative and confirm what happened?
He tried very hard to get rid of me. I had to put my not so nice hat on, and I told him what I was thinking about him trying to act with me like I am one of his employees.
Another 15 minutes on hold while he was listening to my last phone conversation with design consultant, and he admitted that the design consultant confirmed that it was his fault by not double checking with me.
I got the refund.
I told him that as a public service I will put review mentioning dates and names.
As promised. Will never go back, will never advise anybody to buy from them.
He thinks he lost one customer he is wrong. I do Interior design he lost all of my customers included.

NO WARRANTY

"Previously, I ordered two very large inside the frame blinds (measured correctly!) for my house and they were fine. I recently ordered a blind to go in my RV that had to be a specific width. I filled out all of the pertinent ordering information on the website but they made the blind too short. And unbeknownst to me their sure fit guarantee is only applicable for 30 days. So I went through their warranty blah, blah, blah, sent photos, etc. And of course, they refused to honor the warranty. They told me what they sent me was what I'd ordered and I needed to review their measurements instructions So no honoring the warranty whatsoever. Needless to say I'll be ordering from another company moving forward."

How did I not know about blinds.com sooner!!

"I recently got a condo and was wondering where to get blinds and I previously got blinds from a place that offers several day blinds as I didn't know any better. I paid almost 1/3 less of what I would have paid had I not gone with blinds.com. I'm a diyer and these were very easy to install. I did them all myself and the instructions were straightforward.
The blinds are great and the blackout shades filter out all the light as I had hoped.
I will always use blinds.com for my blinds from now on.

Ordered 2 vertical blinds which should take 3-4 days after shipping - took 5 weeks. Plus no order tracking, no customer service

"(1) I ordered 2 vertical blinds on 7 December 2023, order #13114752; they shipped 14 December - so no problem there.

(2) Estimated delivery by 27 December (2 weeks in transit) - but the truck line took just under 5 weeks (33 days) to move these 2 blinds from TX to FL (a 3-day drive)!

(3) Online tracking was useless - on both the blinds.com and truck line websites - no current info was ever uploaded. Blinds.com offered NO help to track the blinds or speed their delivery. They said the trucking industry is in chaos (way behind), and that they had no leverage over the truck line so it was between me and the truck line.

The truck line was no more useful - their tracking system gave no info and they had to e-mail various terminals to find out where the package was. On a call to them on 30 December, they said the package had reached Atlanta, GA, and would arrive in Miami "probably in the next 2 weeks". (Miami is just a 10-hour drive from Atlanta.)

(4) I asked Blinds.com why they don't use UPS, Fed Ex, USPS, etc. (like Amazon, Walmart, Costco, etc.) - they answered that "too many aluminum headrails get bent during shipping with them". But that makes no sense since Blinds.com ships their blinds in a super-heavy cardboard box that doesn't bend (and they could reinforce that with a scrap piece of metal/plastic/wood if needed).

And as someone who owned a multi-million dollar home center for years, and shipped/received many packages per day, I doubt a standard truck line is more careful than those other carriers.

So - for some reason - instead of shipping by a method that would take 3-4 days - they choose a truck line that takes almost 5 weeks and has no effective package tracking.

(5) They shipped my 2 blinds (longest headrail 79 1/4" (6' 7 1/4") in a 12' long box when 7' would do! Although the plastic vertical slats are 99 1/4" (8' 3 1/4") they are very flexible and could easily be gently rolled up and fit in a 1' square box. So their packaging is absurd, invites damage, and turns into an over-sized annoyance to the carrier.

(6) Their chosen truck line delivered to my door. They didn't knock or ring my bell - they just left the 12' long box leaning against my front door so I couldn't open my door.

(7) I bought these 2 vertical blinds in response to a complaint by my Home Owners' Association (HOA). Because they didn't come by December 27th as promised, and as I therefore had promised my HOA, the HOA (a) has decided I'm a liar and troublemaker, and (b) initiated legal action against me. In response, I had to spend hours communicating with them. hiring an attorney, etc.

I want to be compensated for the problems caused by the poor service from Blinds.com.

(8) This was a frustrating, horrible experience. Zero stars.
Poor choice of shipper; no product tracking; no customer service assistance; rude delivery...

Room-Darkening Blinds fit perfectly!

"Our room darkening blinds were easy and quick to install. They really do cut out all the light (except for the < 1/4" on each side of the window casing) and made our bedroom look so much cleaner and sharp compared to our old drapes. We love them!"
