Description and photo varied from actual item

"The hanging lamp/light varied significantly from the photo and the description. The unit was described and depicted as have a gold metal ring that encircles the glass shade. The ring was supposed to be engraved with a design. In actuality, the metal ring was an adhesive plastic ring of gold color and smooth. Ten inches of this adhesive plastic was detached from the glass shade and had to be super glued by me to attach it to the glass shade. It is significantly less attractive than the photograph. Although it was disappointing, I did not return it as it still meets my needs. Bellacor should offer me an adjustment in the price."

Bright !!!

"My first time to order and it was both professional and personable!

My light fixture was as beautiful as in the online photo . . . the phone sales person answered all my questions . . . Shania was so polite and took my questions to heart . . . it arrived on time and in perfect condition!

Now my dining room is bright and beautiful *-)

Misleading pricing

"Amazon has the exact same wallpaper. Its description is the same that it's double-roll packaging into one roll to about 56-SF and it $43/roll. Bellacore on the other hand advertised it to be $33/roll, and in the bottom the description was same as amazon's. How would I have known to have that figured out and do the math on my end that it really was $66/role bundled two rolls into one roll? It was confusing, misleading to say the least, and Bellacore didn't even bother to make any good-faith gesture such as giving me credit for the difference to keep the wallpapers, and instead made me pay for return-shipping fees. Why would I buy from Bellacore again when the first exprience is so negative?"

Mark out, expensive return, lost headboard

"Ordered three items. One was marked out, another had to be returned and it cost me $158.00. Ordered headboard, delivery warehouse never got it. Re-ordered and still no shipping status after two weeks. Order was never placed, had to re-order again.
Once the headboard came - the Dekland in king size - it was in good condition and I was happy with it.

Very disappointed

"I ordered a fan and coordinating light kit. I received the light kit immediately and after a couple weeks of not hearing anything about the fan I called customer service, had to wait on hold for quite a while only to be told the fan was in back order. I did not appreciate not being told about the backorder status right after I ordered and having to finally track the order down to find out, by this time weeks have passed and I could have ordered from somewhere else that had the fan in stock-especially since my electrician is already scheduled to come install my lighting/fans. Will not order from bellacor again. "

still waiting for my order

"I ordered a chandelier on October 12, was told i would have it by October 21st. Well on the 19th I never got a tracking number so I called and was told that they had to change shipping carriers and it will ship out on the 23rd. Still no tracking number so I assume it still has not shipped yet.. So far very upset that I still don't have any info as to when this chandelier will ship. "

"Ordered on the 12th and today is the 23rd and my order has STILL NOT SHIPPED. The only communication with customer service has been prompted by me. Bellacor has seen my last order as I no longer am confident in their ability to serve."

Not as advertised

"The 2 decorative garden light poles that I ordered were not the length advertised, they were 8-10 inches shorter! The customer service representative simply verified that the poles had been advertised at the wrong length and issued a return authorization. She was efficient, but not apologetic for the mistake on the company's part or helpful in finding the items in the correct length. The phone call was very "mechanical" and very rushed. Other than the fact that they were the wrong length, I was pleased with the quality of the product and did go back on-line and order other poles. Great product, not such great customer service! "

"I had never purchased from this site before and was very impressed. There was double packing , thus the lamps weee received in pristine condition. The brown and ivory compliments bedroom colors. The item description was right on. I would purchase again thanks"

Mirrors Broken

"I ordered 2 very expensive mirrors, both arrived broken. Bellacor has said they will replace, but I haven't received any further information from them. I am not very optimistic that the replacements will not also be broken. "

"After I placed an order, I had to call Customer Service multiple times over the course of a week to ask when the order would ship. Each time I was told “in a few days” or “tomorrow” and each time I had to call back when it did not ship. Today I was told that the order would ship in 2 more weeks. Bellacor advertises that they ship out in a few days after placing an order. I asked for consideration on the nearly $500 they were charging in shipping for UPS Ground to upgrade the shipping since the order was taking so long to ship. They said that is the price even though they advertise that they have free shipping. And they said they won’t upgrade the shipping method because they only ship by UPS Ground. When I asked to speak to a Manager they said they would put my request in a note for a call back in 2 days, not the same day. And my order has still not shipped."

Have never dealt with such a poorly run, unresponsive, and incompetent on-line company

"We ordered a VanTeal floor lamp which was supposed to ship in 3-5 days. The tracking link never changed/updated so we started calling. Usually waited over 20 minutes for a person because emailing didn't get a response that made sense. No one ever had any background info and it was like starting over. Eventually received lamp but it was badly damaged and after no responses again, called the manufacturer who said they would have a new one ready the next day if Bellacor would contact them. Eventually arranged for another to be shipped and again tracking info didn't work and we were stuck with the huge cartons and packing materials needed for the return but no information ever came about that either. Finally, we received an email that WE had to pack it up and bring it to a UPS office which was really difficult because of the weight and size and we're both in our 70's. Two days after we did that, we got an email from someone who said we should keep the original one. Not one of the 10 or so people we spoke with (including 2 supervisors) ever had any information on the screen to refer to and, in addition, would put us on hold endlessly and still have no information. Many other on-line companies have the same merchandise for the same prices and we would strongly suggest to never use this company."

Color/Texture not as expected

"The lamps I purchased were not as I expected. The turquoise color was much darker and dirtier than I thought based on the picture. They were advertised in the "House of Turquoise" and they are definitely not my opinion of turquoise. I was also surprised that I had to pay for return shipping. It was my fault that I didn't read their policy completely. I saw "free shipping" and made an assumption. Also, when I went back and read it I was surprised to find out that items need to be returned within 30 days. We have remodeled and timelines don't always work as expected. Overall disappointed. "
