"I had placed an order for a 200.00 r/c tank to have it in time for Christmas just to find out they cancelled the order 3 days later . I called to gripe and they told me they could send me an comparable tank for the same price which I had received that on 12/23/11. Upon my son opening up his present we discovered it had been broken in 3 places and the remote never powered up. Could not call until after 01/02/12 because of their move which is understandable. When i finally reached somebody i had to resend the pictures 4 times before they got them . After they looked at the Pictures of the tank in original shipping box with not a scratch on the box, I was informed that they had to file a claim against UPS ,called today to see whats going on and after 20mins on hold I got hung up on , called back and they closed 3 hours early !scam ?

I sent out package on 01-17-12 but still disappointed I had to pay return shipping ($20.00) on an item that was broken when I had received it

"Over the past six months I have ordered over $1000.00 worth of products and have been dissapointed every time. One order was the wrong color. A jet I ordered ready to fly was not. After several e-mails from customer service about whether this jet came with missiles or not they assured me if I changed my order from blue angel to jolly roger, it would come with missiles. IT DID NOT COME WITH MISSILES. A ducted fan motor I ordered looked like it had been already installed in another jet. It had glue and styrofoam stuck to it. One of the extra batteries I recived was not good from the first time I charged it. I talked to customer service and they gave me the run around and made me feel like they didn't believe me. I have been frustrated with every order from Banana Hobby. I am not a satisfied customer."

"I bought an F86 rc fighter which was promptly shipped. Unfortunately the li-po battery was defective. Hours were spent with on-line help chat with one silly question after another being asked. Finally the chat operator asked me to take the battery apart and "check each cell with a voltmeter and then pay to return it so they could test it.Obviously Banana Hobby thinks nothing of a customer's time and does not care to remedy mistakes or doesn't care about charging for or shipping defective products! Stay away from this uncaring, unethical enterprise! They know they are crooked and care less! At thw very least pay with a credit card and use the card's dispute mechanism to avoid fraudulent charges. Above all believe the other complaint letters!"

"I ordered 350.00 worth of Christmas gifts (2 tanks). One was backordered but came. One tank was defective I have telephoned for days got no one, emailed twice no response, 1 live chat for 45 min. Customer service is awful and return policy is horrible. I read their manual cover to cover 2x. They are trying to weasel out of replacing/refunding 1 tank. This is truly a BUYER BEWARE shopping experience."

"This was the first time dealing with BananaHobby and it will be the last. Helicopter was delivered with a damaged UPS box to one corner and Helicopter would not operate properly (Hover with out banking uncontrollable). Customer Service was horrible. Telephone message stated they were closed during business hours, emailed at least 3 times with no response. Online chat (only time got ahold of anyone) did not help and expected unreasonable actions. Beginner Helicopter customer and thinking of not getting into this hobby."

"I have bought three planes from Banana Hobby and have had a problem with only one, I know it was damaged by the shipper coming from CA to FL but Banana Hobby replaced the damaged Item with very little trouble on my part. They asked me to send them some photo's of the damaged part and the shipping container..can you beleave they wanted to see the broken part, how unreasonable is that, not much ! After sending the photo's they sent me the part at no cost, shipping included, what more can you ask.

I think the biggest problem with any RC sales company is people watch the videos on Youtube and say wow, I want that, no prior experience, no flight time, just WOW I want it..well its Banana Hobby's job to sell it to you and when you don't put it together right and then crash it, well you wanted it remember.

Banana Hobby didn't build it, they just import and resell so don't blame them for everything. Another thing people need to remember is that Banana Hobby consist of real people with real feelings, try a little kindness and respect with your contact, it will serve you well.
I like the products sold by Banana Hobby and will buy from them again, can't wait to see whats new for RC planes in 2012.

"ordered RC Helo for son for Christmas. After order was placed the confirmation page then notified me that it was also back ordered and would not ship out until mid to late December. On Dec 20th or so the status was it would ship in 4-7 days. It has said the same status ever since. Sent an email asking for help on 1/1/12, no email response from company as of 1/4/12. Called today 1/4/12 spoke with customer service (joke) She stated she would re-print the order so the warehouse would go ahead and ship the RC Helo, but that they hadn't gotten them in until 12/28. So had I not called I would still be waiting on the 4-7 days because they had NO RECORD of the order being filled or shipped or even ordered!!! Asked if they would at least expidite the shipping and send it over night or two day...here is the customer service, "no sir, I'm sorry we can't do that." Really? There is no customer service with that statement: lets see, you basically lost my order and had I not called you would have probably never shipped it. You had no problem taking my money. Will NEVER shop from Banana Hobby again, matter of fact I already ordered another Helo from THINK RC, it's enroute!! Also, you by far were not the cheapest either."
