"Similar to the last ratting. I bought a Sandisk Cruzer mini 256 MB pen drive. The first drive went bad after a couple of days. The RMA was clean except it took about a week longer. They sent a NIB it's also bad. I tried it on 5 different computers. 4 XP's & 1 Win98se. It locked up the 98 pc. The XP's see the drive identify it then it simply doesn't function. They pushed me off on Sandisk who has ignored me to date and BananaPC isn't returning my email. Easily fixable & very disappointing.
UPDATE: Scandisk got ahold of me. Not only are they replacing the pendrive but sent a prepaid shipping label! I won't buy anything from BananaPC but I'll sure buy Scandisk products!"
"I needed a small hard drive for my backups. I found a Toshiba 1.8" PC Card hard drive. When it arrived,it was defective. BananaPC immediately sent me an RMA. The item was shipped back to them.21 days later I am still wondering what the holdup was. I wrote requesting an update. They never wrote back. I finally called them and was told that they had to talk with Toshiba. I bought it from BananaPC, NOT Toshiba. This went on for over a month. I finally turned it over to the credit card company. WinTec Industries finally sent a replacement item. I will NEVER deal with BananaPC.com again."

An e-mail asking when the next bunch would come in was replied to promptly saying they would no longer carry the card. A week later, the 9700's were back in stock. Great price ($216, shipped)! Despite the initial obvious lack of communication between their staff, shipping was prompt and the card is worth every buck I paid."
"I emailed before I ordered to find out if a laptop hard drive was in stock. I received a reply that said yes, the exact model I want is in stock. I promptly ordered via their website. An hour later, I receive an email saying the item is not in stock, but may be available on Monday, and they will ship it then, if it becomes available. I reply, telling them to cancel my order. Then, lo and behold, I receive an email saying the item is in stock, and will ship tomorrow. It did ship the next day (although I was not supplied with a tracking number via email as promised) and worked fine. But they need to either improve their knowledge of their stock, or simply not lie about what is or is not in stock."
