Buyers beware

"In November 29, 2023 I purchased from Austin Bazar a Roland Juno ds-88 synthesizer bundle package for $999.00. When I received the keyboard it was package in an oversize box allowing the keyboard to bounce inside of the box. The keyboard was not in the original manufacture box, nor did it have protected plastic covering that comes with most products. The keyboard had scratches and blemishes throughout the keyboard. The keyboard was damaged in 5 different places. This was definitely not a new keyboard. Why did they send out an out of the box, or used keyboard? After sending them pictures of the keyboard they offer to reimburse me 10% for the damages or return for a full refund. But after reading other reviews their refund was not always timely. The two part a/c adaptor was missing the cord that plugs into the wall, and they told me I would have to notify the manufacture for the part. The package was about 5 feet tall and weighed over 80 pounds, and It would be somewhat problematic for me to return it. So since it did work I kept It. My issue was why did you send me out an used keyboard? Then with the poor packing it led to additional damage. FOLKS BE WARE.

Missing package/no refund

"I ordered and electric piano and it was delivered to the wrong address/signed for by someone other than me. Austin Bazaar refuses to file claims with FedEx and will not refund me. Do not buy from them. "

"Received a guitar with dead jack. Gift for 9 year old grandson. Called bazaar and guy from india told me ( after many translation attempts) to make a video of the problem and send to them for review. Then they decide on the next step...shipping return etc. WAITING yet again. Screw these foreign losers, i am going back to Sweetwater and Zzounds where probs get fixed by American music guys."

Company lies. Austin Bazaar is trash.

"DO NOT BUY FROM AUSTIN BAZAAR!!!
Customer service is horrible and will lie about anything and everything. Ordered an amp, but read customers were receiving them damaged because of the poor packaging. I called and the customer service rep told me the issue had been resolved. She lied. Sure enough, when i picked up the package the stuff inside was poking through the box, something i was assured was no longer an issue. The front of the amp is crushed in because they pack the foot switch right in front of the amplifier screen, something i was also told they no longer did. This company is garbage and their employees are liars. I paid a lot of money for this amp and paid a lot extra for speedy shipping only to recieve a damaged item. I will never buy another item from this company again, and you shouldn't either.

Excellent return policy and customer service

"I ordered a Roland FP-90X digital piano package through Amazon, with Austin Bazaar Music as the seller. They sent it out right away, but unfortunately it arrived damaged. I contacted Austin Bazaar, and SIrisha helped me. I sent her photos and a description of the damage. She was fantastic. They refunded my money and paid for return shipping. Excellent customer service."

First time buyer

"I ordered a Cordoba Concert Ukelele from Austin Bazaar in Feb. of 2020. It was shipped within 2 days and received in excellent condition. It was well packed and arrived on time.
Having played guitar, bass and bagpipes I do have a musical background and usually don't buy musical instruments on line. But I am very pleased with the Cordoba. It is beautifully finished, easy to "finger" and stays in tune. I would highly recommend both the Cordoba and Austin Bazaar!

Great service and Great Córdoba Uke!

"I ordered a soprano ukulele and it arrived in 3 days from AB. It was OK but just didn't have the sound I was looking for. Called AB and they had no problem with my returning it. With consultation with the customer service rep I choose the Córdoba 20SM. In about one week's time I had it delivered. This is the one I was looking for. Solid mahogany top and mahogany laminate on back and sides. Beautiful satin finish. That great mellow mahogany tone I was expecting. Great action, tone, finish and feel! This is one great little Uke that break the bank. No cons on this baby."

"We bought a Fender Squier Bullet Stratocaster for our son, who plays acoustic at school and this is his first electric.

We are so ecstatic, we couldn't possibly put it into words. Everything about Austin Bazaar - their service, business, merchandise and courtesy are simply wonderful.

The guitar is perfect in condition and exceeded all of our expectations. My wife can't stop smiling and our son can't put his prized possession down.

"What makes an organization go from good to best in class customer service is the manner in which problems are resolved and Austin Bazaar certainly understands this concept. There was a minor glitch in a recent purchase I made – The wrong item was received. All it took was one phone call and the correction was made immediately and expeditiously. The customer service representative (Kayleigh) was extremely courteous and apologetic and advised that I should keep the item and donate it to anyone of my choice as I pleased. I received the correct item in the timeframe as promised in perfect condition. The purchase price was unbeatable. This service was exceptional and deserves a 5 star rating."

"I live in Hawaii. My granddaughter (Heather) and daughter moved to the Berkeley area 6 months ago. My daughter came back to visit and Heather asked us for a Ukulele. What was affordable here was not the best quality. So we didn't purchase one. Heather was broken hearted, she is an amazing singer and planned to "street" perform with the Ukulele. I took to the Internet found Austin Bazaar thru Amazon and discovered a great Uke at a very affordable price. They even included shipping to my daughters address!
I just got a video text message of Heather singing and playing the Uke delivered this morning, I wish I knew how to share it because no words can describe the joy on her face and in her voice. Thank you Austin Bazzar for making this teens dream affordable! Bless you...
