"I was surprised to see some customers have left poor reviews, because I had a very positive experience ordering from AudioLines, and I got a fantastic price on the pro studio equipment I was after (a pair of Digidesign RM2 monitors). The items were "open box", but in mint condition, so I was overall extremely pleased with the whole transaction, and got a MUCH better price than I would've been able to get elsewhere. Also the customer service was excellent, with the same representative helping me with various questions through the whole order process.
In my opinion it is always common sense when ordering B-stock items to PHONE the company first to see which items they have in stock, and what the condition is (I've always done this when ordering B-stock audio equipment from anywhere). As my item was open box I phoned Audio Lines and they always picked up the phone straight away and were willing to spend the time to answer queries.
This is a great company and I will definitely be ordering from them again. Also I'm ordering quite high end equipment, and I'd defintiely trust them at least as much as any other re-seller that I have dealt with. Highly recommended.

"I did international order. At first I had not gotten any responses because the stuff had been on holidays. After he responded, I got the unit I ordered very quickly.
However, I am disappointed about he told me that he didn't have the items after I had transfered money.
So I want you to tell me you have an items or not before I transfer money.

I am satisfied with the items , and I will keep shopping at Audio Line. I recommend Alex.

"I had a good experience with them since first of all they had the best price for my AKAI MPK49.The item was back ordered for 2 or 3 month and was very hard to get.Audiolines was the first company that called me when it was available and after a price research on google, I found that they had the best price."

"I'm responsible for sound, lighing and video purchasing for a large professional sports franchise. I have to get projects completed on time and within budget. I have dealt with many vendors over the years, but for a recent purchase decided to give Audiolines a shot. Dan at Audiolines was informative, helpful and patient. Best of all shipping was immediate. The bulk of my order was delivered within 24 hours! "Audiolines. com are run by a bunch of CROOKS with a capital C!! Out to con those who don't know better, myself included for being 'naive' in believing that your company is ethical in your business dealings.

1) Option B is a 'con job', switch and bait and by basically telling your customers that opted for the B grade that it's no longer available but the option for a new one at a discounted price is available.

2) Having to return a wrong item sent at my own expense when the mistake was on their side. Delivery charges is atrocious even when delivering within US itself. In total shipping was 30% of the cost of the items purchased. it was $29 for items costing $100.

3) The correct item was NOT sent to me despite the fact that i have returned the incorrect item and was promised by Audiolines. This happened even though verification was done with a staff (jeff) who said that the correct item WILL be sent to my current address. No reason was given and the person in charge was NOT willing to disclose name or even speak to me on the phone despite my repeated calls.

It is obvious that Audiolines.com is a company out to con the public. Obviously I was not the only victim as there's several such stories pertaining to Audiolines that happened. They are a bunch of ass and con man with no morals who thinks that they can get away with all this bullshit business of theirs. I cant wait for the day when they offend the wrong people who will take all action to take them down and even burn down their store in Chicago.

"Another victim of bait and switch. Didn't realize it until I read similar reviews. Tried to order a BCD3000, open-box with a great price. Got a call rather quickly telling me that they were testing the product out, it was defective, but they'd offer me a deal on a new one. I took it, thinking they were doing me a nice favour. Shows how little I knew."

"I didn't purchase anything, but I received a similar bait and switch from this store when I called about an open box item. They tried to charge me sales tax even though they did not have operations in california, AND they wanted to charge me 20 bucks for shipping a small laptop stand. This was ridiculous, at this point they told me they could give me the stand new for 79 and then later dropped the price to 65, INSTEAD of just charging me a cheaper amount of shipping on the other one. This is very much a bait and switch operation toget you to buy the new items."
