"ARISMO.COM IS A SCAM!

I ordered a 256MB stick of DDR RAM from them on July 17, 2003 for $25.
I selected standard shipping, as with numerous other things I ordered from other sites.
I received most of the computer parts I ordered (all on the same day, mind you) within a week or so of when I ordered them.
However, it is now AUGUST 11, 2003 and I am STILL waiting on the RAM from Arismo!
I am SERIOUSLY annoyed now! I tried going back to the website I ordered the RAM from (Arismo.com), but it's
no longer there! I went to pricewatch.com and got the seller's info and called their phone line
at ***-***-****. Guess what? BIG SURPRISE: It's disconnected! So, I searched the Internet for more info on Arismo and came across this site
and read some of the comments. Boy, wish I had come here first because I would have NEVER, EVER done business with a scam joint, fly-by-night operation such as this!
I also tried their ***-***-**** number (Which I only found from someone's posting here) and that number has issues also. The phone company won't
connect to that number but it doesn't give me a number disconnected message either, so... Weird... I will do some digging tho and see if they even billed my credit card and if so, to tell the
credit card co. to stop payment on it or whatever I can do. Yeah, it was only $25 (Thank Gawd I didn't order anything ELSE from them!)
, but it is still MY MONEY and I fight for all of it. I've argued with companies over the phone before over $1, I'm not letting $25 get away! I guess I'll have to order some RAM elsewhere then... Oh well, live and learn!

"Yep, I got ripped off too. I've been calling they're 1-800 number for days at all hrs and it's always busy. They took $22.00 out of my account and the memory never came. I'm very disappointed and I hope this company gets sued. I want my money back 110% plus.

I was billed for $62 from SofSoft on my debit card, but never received the product as of this date (8/9/2003). I will be contacting my bank to get my money back!

"well guys, here's my story. i've used arismo before, about 4 months ago, twice and everything was good. i was re-ordering again from them and i actuaaly was on the website that's no longer there, placed and order for a case & power supply, got a confirmation e-mail but wasn't charged. so i called customer support and phone number is disconnected and web site gone. i got lucky and put a stop payment on the charge with credit card co. found this place and noticed everyone was going through the same thing. oh well, another on-line company bites the dust."

"Looks like I got screwed by Arismo too!.Placed order on 07/17/03 but never received a order confirmation. The web site said my order had been "processed". Sent two e-mails asking for a shipping date. No replys. Stumbled on to this web site while trying to get more info on Arismo. Looks like I'm a day late and a nickle short. I've filed complaints and will dispute the transaction with my CC company."

"I ordered 2 256MB of pc2100 from them around July 21st, and never recieved a confirmation email. I waited a week then emailed them, still no response. Now I stumble upon this website.

Maybe I should have listened to those random thoughts that questioned ordering from some company I've never heard of. But they were listed on Pricewatch.com so of course they should be legit... yeah!

" I ordered 2 256MB PC2100 DIMMs from www.arismo.com to which some company called SofSoft Corp. debited by checkcard for $50. Still have not received my memory as of August 8, 2003. Phone numbers and website disconnected.
I will not be doing any more transactions from companies from City of Industry, CA.

"I PURCHASED SOME RAM ON 07/16/03. MY CREDIT CARD WAS BILLED. I MADE SEVERAL ATTEMPTS TO CONTACT ARISMO, BUT NO ONE EVER RESPONDED. THE ORDER WAS TO BE SHIPPED UPS GROUND, BUT AS OF 08/07/03 I STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE ORDER. THIS IS A POOR WAY TO CONDUCT BUSINESS."

"I placed an order on July 17th and received an e-mail conformation but never received my item ordered. I tried calling on Aug. 5 but no luck the phone number don't work and the web site is gone. "Just like everyone else, I got ripped off out of $50 -- luckily not much -- for 2 256 MB SDRAM sticks. Ordered 7/16/03, payment taken 7/18, got a confirmation email, but now no response to my email, both 866 numbers are disconnected, their website is down and now I'm filing a merchant dispute with my bank's Visa rep. Too bad I didn't find this website until I started searching for Arismo news on Google to see what was up -- could've used this info a month ago."
