"I checked out their site 2/13/13 and one of the parts I wanted was a great price and the other was more expensive, so I asked them to do a price match. They said they would when they verified the other site. I was on hold for over 20 min and then another 10 min and then they said they couldn't do it, that amazon was too low. They should have said that to start off with, so i ordered one part from amazon and one from appliancezone. My amazon part was $10.00 cheaper on a $20 product. So I was thinking my $99 part was on the way and i would get it today or tomorrow. Nope I find an e-mail stating for reasons beyond their control shipping would be an additinal $45 on top of the $7 they already charged me. So i send back an e-mail saying fine i'll pay it b/c i have to have the part and when will it come? Nothing, just an invoice to pay the additional $45 w/o addressing my concerns. So my thought is I will pay another $45 and they will probably tell me oh it is going to take 2-3 weeks to get it and i have to suck it up, just like the shipping. So then i finally googled appliance zone reviews and I found this. So I am totally freaking out and praying I will get my $107.00 back from them. I have sent the request 3 different ways, so keep your fingers crossed. But NO DONT use this site ever. "

"TRUELY BAIT AND SWITCH, spent hours trying to find the parts I needed, found them paid for them. It was confirmed and stated my order would be shipped, then I get an email stating the price of the parts went up and that they wanted more money. I have spent hours on both live chat and sending emails, THIS COMPANY HAS NO PRIDE, they are an entire family of scammers, Now I am worried they might steal or sell my information. I am placing complaints with the BBB, here ripoff.com and I will be filing with the Judge Advocate General JAG as soon as possible to have them blacklisted for soldiers nationwide.read their response.

"Buyer beware... If its to good to be true then it is!!!! I ordered exactly what they recommended for a new board for my 3 year old samsung fridge! The parts came they were clearly the wrong part so the never even came out of the package. Sent them back via their protocol and they are swing they were never received. I have sent the FedEx tracking number twice that said it was delivered! Now sense they are email only they are not responding!!! Don't buy from. Unless you like to just throw your money away!!!!!!! "

"i've placed an order with them and 3 days later I contact them via chat and they tell me my order shipped with two ups shipments; i check and the shipments show the destination is a different state then my shipping/billing address; i ask them for a refund and they disconnect me; called the cc company to request a chargeback"

"Doing business with these fools will only frustrate you and cost you money. There’s very little likelihood that you’ll receive the parts you need.

I needed a hinge pin assembly for the bottom of a refrigerator door. When I couldn’t locate the parts through their search engine I went into the “chat” function. A woman responded and it took a while for her to understand my needs, but in the end she gave me the part numbers and I ordered them, along with a few other minor items.

When the hinge parts came I opened the plastic bags only to discover:
a) The bracket the mounts to the refrigerator was the wrong bracket
b) The pin that engaged to the door was the wrong component
c) Neither part matched the other, so even if the correct refrigerator had been referenced, these parts would not fit together!

In addition, one of the other small parts was shipped separately in a soft envelope and was crushed in shipping, and therefore useless.

When I emailed these fools I was told that they had shipped the parts I had ordered. If I wanted a refund I’d have to ship the stuff back at my expense, and that there would be a restocking fee for any opened envelope. Really? They recommended and shipped items that were not only wrong, but wouldn’t even work together. And they wanted me to pay the shipping charges as well as some undefined restocking fee.

I know when the forces of stupidity have won, and I cannot receive anything approaching a proper refund for their mistakes. Save yourself the wasted time, money and aggravation. There are several good internet vendors out there, and I have used others and will use them again. These fools will only waste your time and money.

"While I see that others have had issues with ApplianceZone, I took a chance and ordered a replacement door shelf for my Samsung refrigerator. The ordering process was easy, I had a Fedex tracking number a few hours later, and the part was delivered the next day (A Saturday!) even though I had chosen the least expensive shipping option.

ApplianceZone was also MUCH less expensive both in the cost of the part and shipping; most other on-line retailers were at least 50% more. Shipping was also reasonable; $7 for "3 to 5 day ground shipping." The price, including shipping, was less than the least expensive alternative's price for the shelf WITHOUT shipping.

"My initial purchase for my oven part at Appliance Zone was good! BUT when I needed to return it...which it had never been opened! I ended up buying a new oven so I didn't need it...they only refunded me for the part. NOT the original shipping cost that I paid!!! Needless to say they didn't pay the return postage either! I will NEVER do business or recommend this company!!!"

"I ordered some parts for a dryer and paid extra for fast delivery. They shipped the parts to the correct address, but to the billing zip code. FedEx could not find a SC address in GA, so they sat on the order for two days before figuring out the correct zip.

The AZ rep was almost rude when I attempted to get a correction in the shipping address. I have now taken the time to read some other reviews on this company and wish I had never ordered from them. Hope my parts, when and if they ever arrive, are correct...........

"Buyer BEWARE. Their business practices horrible. Appliance Zone has no inventory. When you place an order, you have no assurance that Appliance Zone can get the part to ship. Appliance Zone charges your payment method immediately. If the part is unavailable from Appliance Zone's vendor, you can wait weeks, or months for the part. Appliance Zone will not inform you about unavailability. If you wish to cancel the order, you will get Live Chat or email run around for days. When the order is eventually cancelled, Appliance Zone informs you it will take weeks to credit your payment method. Appliance Zone closed their Better Business Bureau account. You should google "Apppliance Zone BBB" for more horror stories."

"Changed the price of the item AFTER the purchase.

I selected ApplianceZone after reading reviews. However, 40 minutes after receiving a confirmation email, I was sent another email saying they couldn't sell the item for the agreed on price. The price went up 50%. They indicated they couldn't sell it for the price shown at checkout and in the confirmation email because it would be at a loss.

I cancelled the order and as it turns out I found it cheaper at another site. That site was the manufacturer's site. It was less than the original price they charge for the item. Maybe they should start buying direct from the manufacturer's website.

"I bought a part that they suggested I needed for my broken stove I installed it and it was the wrong part. It did not fix my problem. After 1 hour of live chat they informed me that it was probably not returnable because I plugged in the control board to see if my stove would work. They are a total scam. BUYER BEWARE. THEY WILL NOT HELP YOU RESOLVE YOUR PROBLEMS."

"1 Dishwasher Control Panel - 8558947 (Whirlpool) @ $104.30, which is $30 cheaper than competitors.
Part arrived Tuesday night, 2 days after ordering on Sunday evening. Pretty quick for normal shipping, no extra paid for expedited/overnight.

No problems, no hassles, and there are salespeople floating around on instant-chat on their website to proactively help you with your order. I'd purchase from this place again. 5-stars.
