Decent services

"Pretty decent services provided there. I bought a phone and I had some issues with it. It took the customer support team awhile to respond to my concerns. Other than that, I had no more complains."

new Iphone-X DOA

"Purchased a new IPhone X from the apple online store for my daughter’s birthday. I’ve had problems in the past getting merchandise from the store in a timely manner, so I ordered her phone a number of weeks early so it would be here for her birthday. After she opened her gift we went to the ATT store to have the new phone activated (this phone was still in an unopened box) and it was DOA, could not be turned on and plugging it in did nothing. The ATT store directed us to an authorized apple repair store nearby for help. We went there and the phone could not be turned on, they said it was some sort of internal error code and would need to be returned to apple. I called Apple support, described the issue, and told them we needed a new replacement phone. They first tried to charge us $38 for the return repair which was totally unacceptable (this was a brand new phone ordered from the apple store which was DOA, still has all the plastic wrap on the phone). Finally I was given over to a supervisor who arranged for the phone to be returned and then a new one will be shipped out. I asked if a new one could be shipped out (I was willing to secure it with a credit card number until they received the DOA phone back) but he said NO. So the DOA phone is in route back to Apple and supposedly a new IPhone X will be shipped out to us at some future date. Meanwhile my daughter waits for her birthday present-a new phone x from the online Apple store. This has been a totally disgusting experience, I doubt I will ever do business with Apple again. Complete incompetence ! "

THEY DO NOT HONOR CARRIERS WARRANTY

"I bought a 7+ 4 months ago & the microphone quit working. I have both warranty protection & insurance on the device. I was sent to the Apple Store at ABQ Uptown & was told “sorry, Apple Care & your insurance from T-Mobile aren’t the same & they wanted to charge me $350 to fix a microphone!! And the manager supported this decision. Shame on Apple, a complete rip off. I hear more & more how people are switching back to other phone brands & I can now see why. The woman I spoke to at Apple Care said, it was probably because all of their phone parts were coming from China now- completely unacceptable!! "

Needs more technicians

"I love Apple Inc. But, the local stores need more people to help process broken products. Apple’s reputation for customer service is tops in the industry. They take back everything with no hassles or trying make the buyer look like a liar and thief like some merchants. My only issue is with the local stores. Lots of people to help buy things. Few people to help get broken items fixed. It’s much easier to call the support help like (if you can find the number) than to walk in. Note, an appointment is a must if you want local help in the stores. It could take over a week to get an appointment. Then, the will send the product in to get fixed. Send it in yourself using online help customer service. They send a prepaid Fedex one day-ship box to you. No need to send accessories, power cord, watch bands, etc. No need for original boxes. Items are returned with the week. "

Awww ..... I thought Apple was better :-(

"So .... I finally made a decision. I had a Samsung S4 for too long and it was finally dying. On 5/15/18 I purchased the "X". I love the phone but am afraid of any problems that may arise due to poor customer service issues. There really is not any kind of organization of a line or how to help people in the order they came in or had an appointment time slot. This can easily be corrected. They clearly have the technology but I don't know why they aren't using it? I talked to others who were long time users of apple and they said it used to be fun to come to the store, but not anymore. I can see why.

Is this the start of Apple going down? Unfortunately, I think it probably is.

To Get An I Phone battery replacement

"On April 1, 2018 I needed to have my I phone battery replaced. I was in Naples Florida and found an apple store in an upscale mall This was the worst experience I have ever had

Upon arriving there was no rep to explain the process for service

I asked one rep who directed me to Another rep who told me that I would be receiving a text telling me when I could come back

I left

An hour and a half later, Within 5 minutes of receiving a text I responded but was texted back saying I didn’t respond soon enough and I lost my turn

I went back to the apple store to yet another rep who told me I had to see another rep

This rep took information and directed me to another rep

This rep took even more information and told me to come back in two hours

Two hours later I came back saw a rep who told me to wait for another rep

This process to get a battery changed was disgraceful

You have got to be kidding me !!

Waste of my time!

"I made a trip to the mall which has our Apple store in ona Monday night at 5:00 pm,I was told it’d be 3 hour wait just to get to the person I’d tell my problem to (broken screen) then it could be an hour to fix. That seems unrealistic time to wait. 3 hours for a drop off and return... Apple needs to be working on that time management thing. Needless to say I still have a cracked screen, I had my grand babies (age 2 and 4 ) with me and to ask them to wait 3 hours is just plain stupid. "

Horrible customer service...

"I called apple for a Iphone 6 plus which was not working. Repair Id is: D281262861. I was told that i will get a replacement phone and i will have to ship my old phone back. I was told that most likely its a battery issue and it will cost me 29.99. I sent my old phone back and it was received by apple. I was told by the customer rep that if the charges of repair is more then i will be contacted by apple. I never got emailed or called and they just charged me $381.72"

Customer Service - more like not

"Extremely poor customer service. I called the Temecula, CA store, wanting to know if they had the Apple Logic Pro application in stock. She informed me that I could buy that from the Apple store online. I told her that I would prefer to buy the physical product from the store. She said she would check, and put me on hold. Some time later (probably about 10 minutes), she came back and asked me if I had some reason for not wanting to buy it online. I told her I didn't feel the need to discuss my personal business with her, and would she just answer the question: "Do you have it in stock?" She put me on hold again and about 10 minutes later the phone went dead. There's 20 minutes of my life that I'll never get back. Why should it be so hard to just answer the question? A simple - "No, we don't carry that in the store, but you can get it at the Apple store online." would have made it a simple, cordial, 30 second conversation."

"I purchased an iphone 8 on January 5 at a verizon store, Verizon being my carrier. Got new phone ready but when asked for old iphone 6 security code, i hit a wall.
I went to Apl Store on Knox in Dallas. One young tech at front tried to get phone to work but it froze. He asked Ignacio to help. Ignacio restarted phone, patiently waited for downloads and updating. Got to site to Change Security code. All i had to do was go home and update apps after Ignacio explained the process.
He is knowledgeable, patient and is my New Years hero.

Bad experience at an Apple Store

"A mob was waiting for service. There was no organization, no priority system, no separation of Genius Bar customers from those waiting to purchase an Apple product. If McDonalds can have a kiosk, why can't Apple let us sign in and wait, hopefully in a chair, for someone to pay attention to us.

Once we got the required attention, all was well. The person was competent, friendly, and not flustered.

Next time I buy an iPhone (if I ever do), I will buy it online and sell it outside of Apple.

" Poor service from nose ring wearing punk antifa type dweeber. no thank you for a $1700 purchase no service flexibility on iMac overrated tech support. Automated attentant doesn’t work; cannot understand the number 2. Totally frustrated with these folks. Why do I even bother? Taking my broken iMac somewhere else. "
