"Amondotech is a horrible online company!!! Warning, do not use them!!!
I ordered a universal battery charger from them and after 3 days it literally melted down.
I’m an electronics tech so I understand how to use a charger :) but this one was dangerous.

I emailed them and got one replay saying “It should run warm but not over heat” I called repeatedly and got a voicemail every time. I started mailing every day for a week and got nothing back. What they did do is start spamming me and they will not stop. I have reported them to spam cop and others but still getting spam. I found their supplier in China and emailed them about this item and got no reply. I am now forced to have my attorney take this over.

"Amondotech has the WORST customer service. The order took an excessive amount of time to be shipped with no response to emails. I should have taken this clue as a sign of things to come. Once the order arrived it was incomplete. I ordered 26 AA batteries; received 25 and one of the batteries had the label falling off. Two weeks later this problem has still not been resolved and they do not respond to email or phone calls. They have NEVER answered the phone. They have NEVER returned my calls. I will NEVER do business with them again."

"Never use this company. I have had nothing but trouble with them. I made an order for ink cartriges in April, after 3 weeks I never received the order. I sent them an email, and they said they would look into it. I received a generic email requesting my ordering information (I guess they couldn't look it up)? Another week goes buy and I email them again. They tell me my usps number and tell me I have to call my post office to search for the package (its out of their hands). The post office had a request for pickup from them, but never received the package. Its now June, I'm out $100, and I will never deall with them again.

"They sold me a universal battery charger and 14 batteries...The charger shutdown day one. Of the batteries, half were dead or wouldn't hold a full charge. They do not respond to e-mail requests to return merchandise. Yet, they require a Return Merchandise Authorization to refund your money or exchange goods. They simply refuse to give you the authorization to return the goods. I would never recommend them to anyone. They don't respond to customer complaints for defective merchandise. They will ignore you.

I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. Run, do not walk away from these cheats.
They do not stand behind what they sell.

"I placed the order on 1/29/07. This merchant charged my card immediately but e-mailed later on 2/5 saying they couldn't ship the product since they were all out of stock. Fine, I'll wait. A week goes by, two, three, one month, two months. Nothing comes. I had to dispute the charge with my issuing bank before amondotech actually replied to my e-mails. "

"I have ordered rechargeable nimh batteries from Amondo tech for about a year. I find their ordering process, shipping above average. No problems. Amondo pushes Titanium Brand rechargeable Nimh batteries, which Amondo sells at a very competitive price.

I have no complaints about the AA or AAA nimhs. But I am sure there is a quality control problem with their C cells. I only ordered four a year ago in May. After six months the top of the outside plastic cases peeled away.

I use only the Amondo recommended Vanson Nimh\Nicad universal recharger. I suspect, but am not sure, that the charger's odd method of securing batteries may be the cause. I ordered two more Titanium C cells in March. Already the tops are peeling. I am disastified with that. I haven't approached Amondo about the defect yet, but I will.
For now, beware that Amondo sold Titanium C (and probably D) cells positive-end case tops peel if you charge them with the Amondo recommended Vanson Universal Recharger.

"Placed order on 7-2-06, order shipped 7-3-06, order received 7-8-06. I did receive an order confirmation email, but no email telling me that the order had shipped. On 7-6-06 I sent an email asking for an order update, I got a reply on 7-7-06 telling me it had shipped on the 3rd and gave my a tracking number at that time.

I will probably buy from them again if they have a good enough price for what I want.

"AMONDOTECH REFUSES TO REPLACE OR REFUND MIS-DELIVERED PACKAGES!

I placed an $130 order and Amondotech's delivery agent (USPS) failed to deliver the items. After much stalling and excuses, Wanye (manager?) at Amondotech just has plain refused to respond. I was told by the people that answer the phone that Amondotech refuses take responsibility for their delivery agent's mistakes. Amondotech failed to request a signature delivery service and probably did not insure the delivery. The USPS SHOWS A DELIVERY CONFIRMATION TO THE WRONG ZIP CODE! And, the USPS has NO IDEA where the package has gone.

Amondotech extremely poor service attitude has been one of "We are not responsible (for our agent's failure)" and that I should sue the USPS (even though I have no basis because I did not hire the USPS, nor pay the USPS).

It seems there are quite few cheers for this company because just people receive their items as promised. However, the second a post-sale issue occurs, this company runs for cover and acts in bad faith.

Amondotech has my payment and I have nothing but a bad experience from Amondotech.

"The seller shipped batteries and charger within two days of order and USPS actually got it to me in one day. The mandatory $1 insurance fee should be disclosed prior to the end of the transaction, though. Would shop here again."
