I placed an order for some items from AmericaRX on 07/04/07. At first the website didn't seem like it processed the order correctly, and subsequent emails to ask if the order had been processed were not answered. On 07/05/07 I decided to cancel the order and called customer support directly. After a very long time, I finally got a person to cancel the order for me, as they have no ability to do this through their website. I then received an email from AmericaRX that my order had been canceled, and I had NOT been charged. When my credit card statement arrived 2 weeks later, not only had they charged me the full amount on 07/04 prior to shipping anything, they had not issued a credit in that time. I immediately contacted my credit card company to dispute the charges, and AmericaRX was notified about this via email, (their customer support voicemail was full). They apologized for the delay in issuing the refund, and wrote that they would "wait for the dispute, and then inform me". No credit issued for an order I canceled one day after placing it, which was never shipped by them, nor received by me. I'm flabbergasted.."
"God awful store. NEVER, EVER buy from here again. Their prices seem cheap, but you will never get your product! My story is as follows:
I ordered an item from them for 5 dollars, but needed it quickly so I chose 2nd day air, total was $15. One week NOTHING, no package, I decide to check the status. NOTHING has been sent out, I call them. An automated teller answers and then it says all customer support is busy. Finally someone picks up the phone, and immediately hangs up! I did this 3 more times before finally speaking to a clearly outsourced Indian female. She had no clue for anything and did not help at all. I put a claim with PayPal and then I noticed they immediately sent the package the day I put the claim in, clearly because they were scared and were forced to send out the product that they never intended to.
Today I recieve a package.....2 cans of balm the size of my pinky??? What the hell is this? I never ordered it! This company is a joke, I am convinced this a fraudulent organization, and I pray someone closes it down asap."
"found this store through a froogle search. They had lowest price for the particular product (Aerobic shoe inserts). The sizes I wanted were listed as 'in stock'. Ordered six (3 each of 2 sizes) and paid on line with Visa. One size was out of stock. Company wrote a hand check refunding 1 pair and shipped 3 pair. Whre did refund for other 2 go? Called company, waited on hold for 5-10 minutes (three times) and was cut off when call transfered to sales staff. All the time on hold you listen to recorded message about 'old fashioned customer service'.
This store is low priced because it is low quality. "
