"Absolutely horrendous customer service. Ordered a large qty of product for a promotion. they "had" it n stock as opposed to other suppliers. credit card was billed $680+ on the day of the order - not the day it was shipped which should be a red flag. delivery in 3-5 days was the email confirmation. it has been 9. so I called. they don't have any in stock and they are saying it might be another two weeks. i called the manufacturer. The item has been discontinued. They have no clue. Be advised."

"I orderd a Omron Nebulizer on 5/25/10 that was listed as 'In Stock' for $28.28 plus about $6 shipping. I added an extra $4 for expedited 2-3 day shipping (I needed it quickly). After 4 days the order status still said 'in process' so I emailed them (5/29). They did respond same day even though it was a Saturday and said:

In Reference to your order #10576225 we are very sorry for the inconvenience caused by us. We request our shipping department to ship out your package as early as possible. Once we shipped out your package we will intimate the tracking number through an email. Let us know if you have any questions regarding your order. We appreciate your communication in this regards."

The poor grammar was a red flag that I was in for trouble. (When I sent them email through their online form, the status was "Mail sent suceesfully" (sic))

On June 1 at noon I got this:

"This is to inform you that the product you have ordered for is currently not in stock.
We will be shipping in another 2-3 business days."

Same day at 6pm I got an email that my order was cancelled due to being 'out of stock'. My money was refunded to my credit card.

It bugs me when sites list item 'In stock when they're not'. They wasted a week of my time.

Overall, they did follow through and credited my cardit card, but too slowly in my opinion.

I will not order from AmericaRx again.

(Luckily, I bought another nebulizer from Amazon at the same time and it was here in 3 days. For $3 less.)

"Opened box; yes my oral B toothbrush box had been opened and taped shut. This was not supposed to be Ebay. Then they played the don't-speak-good-english routine when I called and made a refund such a pain I just gave up. Would never buy anything from them at any price. To send back what I thought was a new brand name product would have cost me shipping to me and back for $25. The risk is not worth saving a few bucks."

"This company took my money for an item they did not have. They even confirmed the order as shipping, complete. It took two phone calls and over two wweks to get a partial refund. I feel cheated, and these people are not honest. BEWARE!!"

"Placed order online ($47), paid with PayPal. Never received an email acknowledgment. Fortunately, I took a screen shot of the order page, so I had the order number. When order hadn't arrived in 10 days, called customer service. 25 minutes on hold for a rep - while on hold you are obliged to listen to a repetitive stream of promotional messages. Rep was very difficult to understand (Indian person with strong accent - this is an Indian owned company - "Darisi, Inc.", with offices in NY city). This was my last order with this company. It's worth it to pay another vendor a little more so you don't end up on hold for half an hour."

"I have similar problem as other reviewers. AmericaRX has sent the wrong items that I did not order and will not even answer my inquiries about them. So, I'm stuck with stuff I did not order and do not want.

Their onsite description pictures old items which are what I want. But what they shipped is the new version of the same item which is incompatible. Basically, the refills are a new style that will no longer fit the base product. Their website pictures the old style.

I will not be buying anything from these folks anymore.

EDIT: americaRX did not respond to my 2 email inquires about the order. Oh well, the good news is that every brick and mortar drugstore chain are also online providing competition.

"I've ordered several times from AmericaRx and have generally been happy but things went wrong with my last order and I have not been able to get them to right their wrong.

The product that they shipped me was not what was shown on their website. According to AmericaRx customer service, the manufacturer reformulated the product. OK, no problem, but their website still shows the old product. And I've been waiting weeks to get them to refund me. Each time I e-mail, I get a response saying "Dear customer, we will look into this for you" or "Dear customer, we will check with our billing department". I would say STAY AWAY.

"I have ordered several things from this company. Usually shipping is pretty fast,but it's hard to get a hold of customer service. I have never had any major issues and the shipping is usually fast. Prices are a little better then some other internet drugstores. "

"Ordered two small cosmetic items on the 15th, didn't receive any sort of ship time. Finally send email to customer service to inquire about the shipping status on on 12/22/08 and they stated that it was back ordered with no ship date. Emailed back to cancel and didn't hear back. A week later one of the items showed up but still haven't received a refund for the other product. Found out later I could buy the same product locally at a drug store. "

"I bought LiceGuard, Robi-Comb Electronic Head Lice Detector & Remover on October 15, 2008. The shipping was OK until I received the product. The product never worked. I called and requested an UPS returned label. It took almost a month to mailed to me. I mailed the product back and no refund was credited. My payment company PayPal said I can not dispute the payment. (45 days have passed) From this order I learned, do not buy anything from AmericaRx and do not pay anything by PayPal.

"STAY AWAY....The site said that the product is in stock but after I made the purchase I received an email saying that it's out-of-stock. I quickly canceled my order. I didn't get any confirmation of my cancellation and no one answered phone calls (you can't even leave a message since their voice mail is full).
So I decided to do a quick research on the company through Google and BBB.org and I found that many people had the same problem before and it took them forever to get reimbursed......I finally got reimbursed but after a lot of trouble and worries.....DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY.

"DISHONEST!

Because of low prices and displaying the item I wanted, I purchased 25 worth of products.....delivery time was reasonable, but the wrong product was delivered. After weeks of haggling and delay, AmericaRX send a prepaid UPS delivery label for returning the products. All was fine until, after more weeks, no credit appeared on my credit card. After disputing the charge with my credit card company, AmericaRX denied ever receiving the returned merchandise. Shame on me for more carefully documenting my whole experience! I have now had the charge protest reversed, and I'm stuck with the $25 charge...AND AmericaRX has their merchandise back! DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!

"I ordered a product that contained live cultures and had to be stored well below room temperature. I payed $28 extra for air shipping and received a tiny styrofoam cooler with two melted cold packs inside. Basically, I wasted over $100 on a product that is now useless because it wasn't shipped properly. I've e-mailed this company twice in the last week and they haven't responded. This is the worst service I've ever experienced from an Internet vendor."

"Received BP monitor and found it too difficult to pump up. Returned it at my expense so that it would be received by 10/25. Included copy of email asking to have my money returned. On 10/29 I tried calling to see if it had been received and my money refunded. No one knew. They would check. I sent a series of emails going all the way to 11/2 - always receiving illiterate, ambiguous answers. When I called, I was disconnected twice. The only way I could get my money credited to my credit card was to threaten to stop payment.

I have never experienced such poor customer service!
