"I ordered and paid 100% in advance for a Lumos display that was inadequately packed and subsequently damaged in shipping. In addition, two of the components included in the display were shipped with quality defects. Ace acknowledged the problems and agreed that the parts all needed to be replaced however, they refused to send any new parts until they received the damaged parts back. I sent the receipt for the return shipment but they still refused to replace the parts for more than a week. By the time I received the new parts, I missed my deadline for shipping the exhibit to our first event and had to rent exhibition materials.
I requested that my case be escalated but the customer service manager refused. He also refused to speak with me only communicating by email. My sales rep was also not allowed to communicate with me once the customer service manager got involved.
The worst part of all this, is that when I received the new parts, the podium top was defective again. So after all that transpired, they cared so little about this matter that they sent me another defective part.
Bottom line... if you have any issues with the product, GOOD LUCK! The customer service manager is a terrible problem solver and communicator. The quality control department is not existent. This company was more than happy to negatively affect my company over a couple hundred dollars of parts that they acknowledged they needed to replace. Find another supplier if you can.
Update: Company offered to send me new parts if I return the old parts. Of course that will take two weeks so I will miss my event AND AS PART OF THE OPTION, THEY WANT ME TO REVISE THIS NEGATIVE REVIEW.
This company refuses to communicate directly stating ""We will not be making any phone calls, as I said we will only be communicating via email."
I spent nearly $5,000 with this company paid in advance. This is one of their suggestions, and I quote "You can apply a little super glue and a black sharpie to the "defective" podium top, and we can all move on from this.""
