"I ordered one receiver one week ago from AVinDemand. It is almost impossible to get thru to them on the phone. Finally, after literally 15 times of calling I got thru to ask if I could order one more receiver. He said he could not add on to the previous order but I could if I just go online. Shipping for one was $18 and for two it would be $23 when I tried to modify the order online it created yet another order for two more receivers. So much doing it on line.
I tried calling a bunch more times. Finally when I got thru to them, they cancelled the two receiver order and placed another order for one receiver because they claimed the previous order was already shipped that morning. So they would charge me another $18 for shipping. Yeah he gave me a big $5 discount for spending over $700 at their store. Wooo hooo.... So now one week later, I have yet the receive my order nor any information regarding how to track the shipment and ofcourse the phone calls get to no-one but the recorded messages again.
David from AVinDemand called me and explained that the reason for lack of info was due to high demand after Black Friday and Cyber Monday. He credited me for extra shipping charge and I now do have the tracking information. I can't wait for Monday which is when My receivers will get here.
Now that I understand what happened, I would highly recommend others to shop at AVinDemand."
"I purchased a Pioneer Elite VSX-33 Receiver from AV in Demand.
Their prices were best on the net but I was a little hesitant to order because of some past experiences ordering from the cheapest source. In the past, after placing the order, I would get a phone call from the seller trying to up-sell all sorts of add ons (normally useless) or service plans etc. Some of the refuse to take no for an answer.
After debating for a while, I decided to order from AV in Demand and was pleasantly surprised. No upsell calls, fast service, and a perfect product delivered on 12/2/2010.

"The main reason I went with AV(besides the best price) was the glowing reports of great customer service....and I have not been disappointed. Was surprised(and pleased) to receive a personal tele. call the morning after I placed my order online for a 58" 3D plasma and sound system, to verify the order. The items shipped that day....could track UPS for the small stuff...but not on the truck delivery of the TV and sound system...just when I was beginning to wonder(only because I could not track it), I got a call from the trucking company...they delivered it the next day...brought them in, unpacked, inspected...and that was it. Plugged the TV in...played perfectly...no changes needed to be made. I also bought the 6 year extended warranty and got an Email the following day saying where to register it. Had a warranty clarification question....they got back to me in 10 mins. with a satisfactory Email answer.
