"OK - this is crazy! I swear to God (I'm atheist), I've never written a review before, but this one deserves it! I ordered a Pioneer VSX-32 AV Receiver which wouldn't turn on and it kept showing a blinking light. I googled, but didn't get much help. I sent AV In Demand's customer service an email and asked them to call me back. This guy, David, who everyone talks about is a real person! He called me 5 minutes after my email and reassured me that he'll take care of the situation the next day. He called me at 9PM his time. I have not received the replacement receiver yet, but so what! "AV IN DEMAND WAS GREAT TO WORK WITH. MY ORDER WAS PROCESSED AND SHIPPED QUICKLY AND EVERYTHING ARRIVED AS ORDERED. I WAS BUILDING A NEW HOME THEATER AND AFTER EVERYTHING WAS HOOKED UP I THOUGHT I HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE RECEIVER I PURCHASED. I CALLED AVID CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEY WERE GREAT. "I had never ordered from AV In Demand before, but they had the best price on the item I wanted so I took a chance and placed an order.
After I had placed my first order I placed a second one for a tangential item; there was an issue with the second order and someone from AV In Demand called me 5 minutes after that second order to confirm that I had entered it correctly (I hadn't). I thanked him for the call and asked him to cancel the second order. He said no problem and fixed the issue. I was impressed with that level of customer service.
