"I waited to reply to this since I was so upset with the whole transaction and I wanted to respond without the extreme anger that I felt. The company transacts business under at least three different names: Atafa, Find Imports and Open Tip. I placed my order with Atafa for 3 children's life vests which was pictured on their web site which were the same ones I had purchased two years ago for my other grandchildren from another company which is no longer in business. A few days after my order was placed I called the company to request information as to the date of shipping. This is where things started to get upsetting. After many many many attempts to speak to someone in customer service, order department and shipping with no success I became alarmed. I then started to look up reviews of this company and was very uncomfortable with what I read. I again tried to contact them and after several more attempts I reached a girl who could not speak very good English. After her confirmation that the order would not be shipped until the following week, I repeatedly requested a cancellation. She would not oblige. I insisted on speaking to the manager and with numerous excuses she tried to convince me that she could not connect me. I would not hang up until I spoke to the manager "Joanna". After a considerable wait I was transferred to her. I could not begin to relate the harrasing conversation that ensued at that point. I repeatedly insisted that the order be cancelled since it had not shipped as of yet and she was adament that the order would be shipped BUT she would cancel my order provided I paid the shipping fees even though the order had not shipped. This was an extremely aggravating back and forth conversation for at least 15 minutes. She absolutely refused to cancel the order. In her initial remarks she stated that the order would ship on Monday but at the end of the conversation she changed her story that they shipped. I insisted on getting a tracking number. After much pause she provided me with a number, HOWEVER, according to UPS, the number was created for a package but the package was not in the possession of UPS and was not at their facility but once the package arrived at their facility they would update the status which was later that evening (phone call was between noon and 1:00PM). My attempt to contact them my email was unsuccessful since their email was not recognized. I did receive the package on Tuesday or Wednesday of the follwing week. However - they were NOT THE LIFE VESTS pictured on their website nor were they the ones that I ordered. I could not even think of the aggravation I would encounter if I tried to return them. Not only did this company mislead me with inaccurate information, refused my right to cancel, and substituted a different product, their manner of doing business is unprofessional, untrustworthy and unreliable. I would never recommend this company to anyone."
