"UPDATE: They would NOT send me my rebate. I have complained to the BBB, Dept. of Agriculture & Consumer Affairs, Attorney General's Office, & The Consumer Protection Board. They need to be STOPPED !!!! Do Not Do Business with This Company!!! 2/15/05 After filing all these complaints I just received my rebate!! Everyone here who has been ripped off should contact the Attorney General's office in Fla. and N.Y. Hopefully they will put a stop to this scam. Anyway it is a way to get your rebates!!! Good Luck! PS. You can file all complaints on line.

"I placed an order with A1wireless one of the big mistake i made.
1. They didn't ship everything they mention in the Ad. (They stole a holster)
2. When I called the rebate center I was told my rebate is invlaid and they cancelled it. I had proof for everything so they sent the first rebate now and waiting for the 2nd one.
3. If you refer a friend, forget it you will never get anything from them .
4. Their customer service is the best when u want to buy a phone and NOT after that.
5. If you want to save your time go to Amazon or other sites.

"This company is a HUGE FRAUD. They take advantage of their very large rebates and make up any reason not to pay them out. Do NOT assume that your rebates will be fulfilled when making a purchase."

"A1Wireless is a huge rip off. They refuse to send me my rebates for various false reasons. First it was because they claim they received it 2 days late even though I sent it in 3 weeks before deadline. When I asked them about the 2nd rebate they said they received it and to wait for my rebate. 1 month after the date they were supposed to send it I called them. They told me my rebate was not complete because I was missing my a copy my T-mobile bill. I know I put it in there, how dare they tell me it was not included? The rebate form is so complicated and long I kept it longer just to make sure I got everything they wanted so I wouldn't hear any of this lame excuse. I think people should be aware of their deceitful advertising. I've filed a complaint with the BBB not that I think it will do anything. That is the last time I do business with an Indian owned company. Seems like all you do is get screwed in every way possible with A1Wireless. They like to trick you to buying from them and then they don't fulfill their promises. That is deceptive business.

"I purchased a Motorolla V300 and was told I would get three $50 rebates after a specified amount of time. The first rebate came from T-mobile without any problems. A1 Wireless required I send in a copy of the purchase invoice along with my second phone bill and a rebate form, then my 3rd phone bill and rebate form.The only thing is, they never followed thru on the rebates. When i called their customer service, I was put on hold for 25 minutes, then put on hold again for a supervisor who informed me that "the compute"r says i only sent the rebate forms in without the phone bills".
I told the supervisor that I absolutely sent the required forms in, only to be told that I didn't. After much ado, I was offered $50 instead of the $100 owed to me. I refused the offer as I followed their directions and the company did not follow thru on their promise of a rebate. A1 wireless is a scam as far as I'm concerned. I asked to speak to a higher up, and was told the person I was speaking to, was a higher up of the office. I was told that there is no address to write the Company President and that I would have to email the COO. I plan to go to the better business bureau, newspapers and anyone else.

"If you are planning to purchase a cell phone with plan, a smartphone with plan and happen upon this company and are impressed by they're low prices, do yourself a favor: take the money you would spend on whatever it is they have to offer that you want and flush it down the toilet. You will never, ever see any kind of refund from this company.

I had the misfortune of getting sucked into ordering a smartphone w/plan from this company. I later found out that the phone has been receiving terrible reviews and decided to cancel well before the order shipped. That was over 2 weeks ago and every time I call this company's customer service they inveriably tell me " your money will be refunded and you will see in 2 to 3 business days."

They tell me this everytime I call them...about every 2 to 3 business days and I've called them more than 5 times.

Don't let the Better Business Bureau affiliation fool you. This site has no interest in consumer satisfaction.

"This A1 wireless store is a rip-off store. I included my second bill instead of my third bill in my rebate and they refused to pay $150 rebate. There is no information what so ever about it until after 4 months of waiting. I don't think this is right. I will never ever buy anything from this store again."

"This is the WORST company that I have EVER done business with.

The price that was advertised on their website was not what they charged me on my credit card. They would not even respond to my requests to have the price adjusted. Having no choice but to return the merchandise, I was charged $100 in restock/non-returnable fees. They later admitted that there was a glitch w/ their website that gave incorrect price, but still refused refund back my entire purchase.

"This is the worst company to do business with. To start, the customer service is worst. Very unprofessional and rude to deal with. They liberally use the phrases like 'yelling will not help'.

Secondly, deceptive advertisements. The 'customer appreciation rebates' they advertize do not tell the whole story. In my case, the first rebate required me to submit third month bill, and second one with fourth month bill along with the rebate claim forms.


Thirdly, when I was not satisfied with the phone's reception quality, they wanted $25 restocking fee to exchange for another one.

"I purchase a family plan through them with T mobile, while I have no complaints against T-Mobile. A1 wireless falsied their rebate on the phones, they are basically performing false advertisement in the effort to induce the public to go through them when it is better to avoid their deception in the first place."
