"Confusing transaction! I received my cell phone order promptly, but the number they assigned from T-Mobile was not a local number, and I had to have a new number reassigned.

Additionally, the rebate process for this company is very cumbersome with lot of fine print, and you must wait 6 months before submitting the rebates.

"I bought 4 phones from this company, expecting to reciece all rebates as they promised. I got one rebate for $50.00 instead of $275.00 total. They owe me another $225.00 which they said that offer expired. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY."

"I bought my phone in 1/05 under the presumption that I would receive a rebate of $125. After receiving the phone, I learned there were 2 rebates: one you had to wait 130 days to mail. The other, 185 days to mail. So, marked them on my calender, mailed them on time. That was June & July. It's 12/12/05 and I just received a letter informing me I will not receive my rebate due to postmark does not fall within the timeframe. I've called all of their numbers listed online, never getting a human! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!"

"The worst company I have ever done anything with on the internet or anywhere else.I will never do that again, i have not received my rebates (2) I purchased (2) phones sent in the forms, They stated i sent them early they will not send back my UPC codes to re-apply they stated i lose and can do nothing about it. very smart a-- on the phone.so another lesson learned at 61 years old

"I purchased a Blackberry 7230 from A1Wireless last year. Two weeks ago I received a statement from them claiming my rebate submission was submitted too late and I didn't include my UPC code from the box. Since I had 2 rebates to submit (which is all B.S. just to get you to buy from them), I sent a copy of my UPC, which to them is unacceptable. Additionally, they claim my submission was too late, which contradicts thier claim that the rebate must be sent in with a copy of the phone bill, which "supposedly" arrived after the sumission date. A call to thier customer service department reveals what other callers have claimed...people acting as if they don't understand you and claims of it being too late to submit the original UPC. They were very unfriendly on the phone, unhelpful, and most of all, just want you off the phone so they don't pay you the rebate money....which is all a scam anyway.

Don't buy from A1Wireless, you will be sorry as I am.

"This is an awful, dishonest company. Their prices are low, but everything else about them is terrible!

They first off are completely incompetant. They second off are unaccountable for anything they do. Try to get them on the phone and you’ll see what I mean, that is if you are lucky enough to find their phone number anywhere. I wonder why that is???

So it all started when they incorrectly delivered my phone, even though I wrote a long explanation of where to send it (but still correctly filling out all of the required fields). They sent it to my physical address, not my shipping address (I live in Vail, CO and have no postal service at my physical address) so it was shipped back to sender. After 5 nasty phone calls w/ nasty, rude people I finally received my phone.

Skip ahead 6 months. It is now time for my rebate to be sent in. After waiting 150-210 days I mailed exactly what they were asking for. They have the most asinine instructions, doing just about everything possible to cause mistakes from the mailers. This rebate is for $300, so I made sure to follow the directions to a ‘T’. Two weeks later they still haven't received anything. So I decide to resend the rebate, only this time send it certified. Make sure you make copies of your rebate mailings. 4 weeks later and they still say they don't have my info. By now I have missed my window to redeem my rebate, and nobody at the crappy-ass rebate center can give me any information because they still say they haven’t received anything. I tell them they've already signed for the certified letter a week ago. They say it's still not it the system and could take 8-12 additional weeks!!! At this rate I’m sure I won’t get my rebate back, and if I do it will be at least a year after I bought it.

They SUCK. THEY ARE A BUNCH OF CROOKS. FROM WHAT I'VE READ IN OTHER REVIEWS THEY DO THIS TO EVERYBODY.

After I fill out all of the customer website review forums I can find I am headed next to the Better Business Bureau AND the FCC. If this has happened to you w/ Wirefly I suggest you do the same.

"A-1 Wireless and Inphonic, who supposedly does A-1's rebates, ought to be shut down. I submitted my paperwork on July 25, and in spite of letters and telephone calls, still have not gotten my rebates. The website continually says check back in 3-4 weeks and the "customer service" (1-***-***-****) just says the paper work has been sent for validation. This company is a scam! They ought to be shut down. Contact your state attorney's office or something... What is the difference between this company and a theif?"

"SCAM - Will never give a rebate. My wife and I both purchased phones from them with total $380 rebates. Refused all. I followed all rules and included all documents; even had my wife double check to make sure.

Received notification that all 5 were rejected for the same reason "Form submitted was incomplete and/or illegible." Bull----

Suggest all who got ripped off contact their state Attorney Generals Office and file a complaint. I will.

"Please don't buy from A1 Wireless a.k.a. Intelenet Wireless a.k.a. Wirefly a.k.a. Inphonic. I have the printout of the offer in which I purchased the phone from A1 Wireless. They promised me sending Accessory Kit(Cell charger, Headset and Cell phone cover). They never shipped them. There is 1 month time for me to return the phone. So for the 1st month they keep on telling me that they kept a note to warehouse and my accessories will be shipping soon. After my 1st month was over as I cannot return the phone, they started saying they never carried accessories for Nokia 6620 and they never advertised to give them. I have faxed them my invoice which says Accessory kit - $0.00. The customer service rep. was not able to answer and she forwarded to some manager and the MANAGER gave me a WONDERFUL answer that accessory kit is nothing but wall charger.

They were asking me to send some reference number which they can enter and see the deal details for a particular day in past. But I had the printout of the offer itself which shows the original prices of the car charger, Headset and Cell Phone cover and also my price which is $0.00 for each of those three. So I faxed them that this time and then they talked as if I am telling lies with the fax, and they talked as if they are donating me $20.00 mail-in rebate to buy those accessories somewhere else online. That was the horrible talk I ever had with a customer service Rep. Not only that single talk, all the talks with the customer service rep.s at A1 Wireless. Now when I applied for the mail-in rebate they never show the status and when I try contacting them, they never respond regarding mail-in rebates. I luckily got hold of one of the customer service rep. and he said that the agency which takes care of mail-in rebates itself moved and some other agency is taking care of it. This is all fraud. They just register 3-4 websites, 3-4 toll-free numbers and switch us from one to another to escape paying the mail-in rebates. So please consider my request and also the other complaints that came on this website A1 wireless a.k.a. Intelenet Wireless. Please ban this website from doing fraud business and cheating people. I really request to ban this website.

"They have been processing my order for near 2 weeks. They said my credit card went thru perfect, but are having problems with the order. Few people speak english, no one has an answer, and I continue to be nice.

I hear about concerns in Florida and New York, but some of my friends received their phone in good order; and have no bad comments about rebates.

What are these people called in Florida and New York, so I can pursue a discussion. Are they A1wireless? or somebody else. I know they are wirefly behind the scenes, that or infonics. I haven't yet been screwed, but they sure don't seem to know what they are doing, and excuses are a dime a dozen.

Update: it took 3 weeks for the phone to arrive, and it included rebate information as promised. They failed to provide an invoice, which is MANDATORY, for their rebates. This appears to match the "warning" from others that they will make the rebate process "impossible", time will tell.
