"This is a horrible company to deal with. They have screwed me up royally. I bought a G2 camera from an Ebay auction. Two weeks later it still hadn't shipped. No way to communicate except by email. Their customer service number is either busy or not open even during business hours. They finally shipped after several emails. The product, described as a mint restock, was missing both the users guide and the AC coupler for the power supply. A part that would have cost another $70+. They kept offering to make it right but never followed up in any way and would not give me an RMA number after repeated requests. So I shipped it back without one and disputed the charge with my credit card company. This caused my Paypal account to be locked. Three weeks later they still haven't reimbursed Paypal.

Incidentally, they pad their ratings on Bizrate in a very obvious manner to make up for all the negatives. So I was very happy to find this site.

"Said they had items in stock but obviously didn't. Paid for 3 day shipping and two weeks later nothing has arrived. Had to get credit card company involved. In my opinion these guys are crooks.

"STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!
20 days later I made that order, it still hadn't shipped, but my credit card was changed at the same day. So I canceled it. Right now, another 11 days passed, no refund. I really don't know if I can get it.

"Bad!!!Bad!!!Bad!!!
I purchased a Konica KD500Z with some add ons 03/31/03. After two days I did not receive the e-mail confirmation that I had purchased the camera . After calling and sending e-mail to them ( both services useless ) I called sales again and got the guy who sold me the camera . He said he wrote down the wrong e-mail address but would get me an invoice with my order # on it right away . I was told by my salesman (Benny)that my order was being shipped on April 2nd .One day later I received the e-mail receit and went to their website to track my order , guess what ??? My order won't track because it tells me I do not have a valid order # from the invoice that they e-mailed me , So I called again and again to find out what was going on , I finally got Benny again who reassured me that I should have my camera by April 4th . Guess what no camera . I called on Monday April 7th and asked for Benny and they would not let me talk to him until I told them I was cancelling my order , than Benny magicly appeared. I told him I had read all of these negative reveiws and that it was all happening to me and I want to cancel the order . He put me on hold and came back and said his supervisor would guarantee that I would have my camera by April 9th . I told him they were full of it and I was going to cancel the order . Well I contacted my credit card company and they are not going to pay it . They billed my credit card instantly and thats all they care about , any service after that isn't prority to them ,so buyer beware . I wish I would of looked into this website before I had any dealings with 645AF or Genesis Camera . How could anyone have a track record of very dissatisfied customers like these guys do . Im sure when they don't get paid that I will become a first class priority customer to them .

"Excellent buying experience. They were not the lowest price (but very competitive), but they delivered exactly what they said they would, on time. I ordered an Olympus C-5050 camera; it arrived in perfect condition and works great -- a fabulous camera. Their website was easy to use and the buying process was flawless. Yes I did read the negative comments about this reseller, and yes I had some serious reservations about buying from them. I called first and described a negative experience I had with another reseller, and was assured that the price was accurate, U.S. Warranty, non grey-market product. I am very satisfied with this transaction, and would purchase from them again."

"Avoid doing business with 645af.com. I ordered over the web. The product was $1500 and indicated that it was in stock. I paid for a 2-day air delivery and attached a note that I needed the product 5 days from the purchase date. Now I am an understanding person. I was asking for them to ship the product within 3 days. It is now 5 days from the order date and I cannot get a status from anyone in the company. Their phone system times out after about 15-20 minutes and asks you to call later -- then hangs up. The one time that I did get a hold of a salesperson, she immediately put me on hold without getting any information on my order or me. I hung up after 20 minutes. I sent them an email to cancel my order.

What’s next? I bet my credit card has already been charged? Will they cancel my order, or ship it way beyond when I requested it. I am going on vacation in 2 days (without my new camera) and have no idea how this will unfold.

After reading other reviews of 654af, I should have never ordered from them in the first place. Their prices look very good, but their customer service is EXTREMELY BAD.

"I ordered a Sony DCR-TVR240 camcorder with the "executive kit". The web site stated that it was eligible for a Sony $100 rebate. The merchandise arrived as promised, but the UPC label was missing (in spite of the verbal assurance from the person processing the order that it would come with the label). All of my e-mails to customer service were ignored. After several tries and countless minutes waiting, I finally got through to a customer service rep. who assured me that Sony was accepting photo copies of the UPC label that she faxed to me. Well, Sony rejected my submission. I called customer service again, and they offered me a $100 store credit. End of story. If the price was right (including their exorbitant shipping cost!) I would order from them again, if only because I now have the telephone extension numbers of real human beings in customer service!"

"I immediately received an order confirmation and within 24 hours I was notified that my camera had shipped and was provided with a UPS tracking number. It was delivered within 2 days! The best part of the deal was that the shipping was free and these guys had the lowest price I could find anywhere online. This company offers exceptional service at a very competitive price. I will definitely be doing more business with 645AF in the future. "

"Give these guys a try. Apparently they had a rough Christmas season with things. I ordered the Sony DCRTRV25 and got a defective one (brand new, however, in the sealed box with UPC intact). 645af exchanged it with no hassle at all and even refunded me the cost to ship it back plus some. The rep from 645af called me at home to make sure everything was right. I will purchase from them again.

"So, one of the owners of 645AF called to make things right. Initially, I was not impressed ... 645AF sent me a bad compact flash card with the camera (Nikon 5700) I ordered. It took me a month to get a Lexar card out of them and it was the slowest one made (4x). The owner who called me, (I think his name was Marc), made me a promise and carried through on it the next day. Furthermore, he apologized several times, emailed me, and followed through with another email. One more thing, he NEVER asked me to edit or rewrite my reviews. I have to respect his honesty on this matter and if they continue to improve their customer service I will do business with them again."
