"Purchased the wrong lens for my husband (he wanted a different one). The lens that arrived was clearly not a USA nikon lens in a gold nikon box, but a grey-market imported lens in a nondescript white box.

Also purchased a digital canon P&S for my brother, it looked new, had all accessories and booklets, but didn't have the typical screen protective sticker you find on new items. Decided to return the lens, and keep the camera.

RMA received 12/30, lens was returned via UPS. UPS delivered lens on 1/04.

1/08 Call to customer service, they were very nice, took down the tracking #, said refund in 2-3 days.

1/13 called cust service, still very nice, refund in 2-3 days.

1/19 called cust service, refund "by 5pm tonight"

refund processed 1/20 3pm.

Nice cust service but the actual refund took forever. I was worried I might have to call the credit card company to dispute the charge. I will not purchase from them again, can't recommend.

"I found a special $100 discount for Canon T1i (body only) on 1/10, 2010.
This discount made the USA model $599, which was the same price as the imported model.
I thought it's a great deal so I placed an order immediately at that moment because it will end on 1/11.
I printed out the discount page into pdf files as an evidence, because I heard many resellers do not want to honor special discounts if we do not buy expensive accessories from them.
This pdf evidence file also shows that the item is 'available'.

I did't know why no online account was created (maybe because I paid it by PayPal?) so I cannot track it online.
On 1/12, I found my PayPal account was still not charged so I called the customer service.
It seemed that my order was still not processed and they questioned me $599 is an imported model.
I answered firmly that it's a special discount and I'm sure the order I placed is a USA model.
They finally said yes, but later on I got an email which said my order "is on Backorder", and the email did not clearly show the item I purchased is a USA model.

I hope they did not intend to force me cancel the order by myself as many untrustable resellers do.
Today is 1/21 and my order is still on Backorder.
For the out-of-stock portion, I can somehow understand because T1i is unavailable in many stores now, so I can still wait for one or two weeks,
but soon we will see if their special discount is trustable, and if they will make a mistake and ship me an imported model (the imported model is $589 now, which is even lower than what I paid).
I will definitely come back later and give them a fair score, 5 stars or 1 star, depending on what happens later.

"I initially purchased from 1stopcamera.com due to the high ratings on resellerratings.com and their low price, but was very disappointed with the service I received.

Timeline:
Dec 2: order Blanco Meridian Semi Professional Kitchen Faucet. Availability stated: ships within 24-48 hours. Within a few hours the order status went from processing to routed to the shipping department.

Dec 8th: Having seen no updates to my order status on their site, I sent an inquiry using their online chat (no one was online, but I left a message) They promptly responded back stating that my order would be released on 12/17. Kind of sucks that it initially said the availability was 24-48hrs.

Dec 22nd: After getting no updates whatsoever, I contacted their online customer service again asking for an update. They promptly responded back that I would receive tracking info within 24-48 business hours. So much for released on 12/17.

Dec 30th: Called customer service to see what was going on. Customer service rep informed me that Blanco had closed their warehouse to take year end Inventory and would not ship until 2010. I then reminded him that I ordered this on 12/2 and that this was supposed to have already shipped. He apologized and said he would have it sent overnight the following week when Blanco's warehouse reopened. Fair enough I guess, I took him for his word.

Jan 11th: NOTHING received, no online updates of status, so I called customer service back, they said they had not received the item from Blanco yet. I asked if they could find out what happened, they obliged. I was instructed to call back the next day. They promised they would ship out via 2 day air when they received it (not as good as the overnight they initially promised but whatever).

Jan 12th: Called to get an explanation of what was taking so long, they said their order with Blanco got lost and they had to reorder. They said they expected to get late next week and then they would ship out using 3 DAY SHIPPING! So much for Overnight! LOL! In all fairness, I did tell the rep of these shipping discrepancies and he offered to give me 2 day air again.

My countertops are scheduled to be put in next week so I ended up cancelling my order and paying expediting shipping through another vendor just to make sure I have my faucet in time.


Update 1/13/2010 8:30pm: Received a call from 1stop basically apologizing for what has happened and explaining that the product was truly not available. Withholding my final rating until I do a little more research.

**Update 1/14/2010 Inquired of Blanco regarding the availability of this faucet and they indeed said it was out of stock and only available for shipping to vendors who had ordered it.

**Update 1/14/2010 As promised, my item was shipped by the new vendor, tracking info has been received. Only took them 1 day to get this. I'm not saying they could have got it in one day if I ordered back in December, but they delivered as promised and sent me several emails along the way regarding the status.

I't doesnt sound like what has happened here is totally the fault of 1stopcamera.com but they definitely could have done a better job of communicating along the way. I don't think your first call received from a vendor should be damage control due to poor feedback received. If you guys put the kind of time into this before I cancelled my order instead of after, I'm sure everything would have been fine. Sorry it didn't work out.

"I almost made a purchase and had to cancel the order due to the situation I was in..I made up my mind to buy Yamaha RX-765 and found best deal with these guys. I immediately placed an order. Since I was visiting the US and thought of taking this with me...after 2 hrs I had an update that i'll be departing earlier than expected and this was enuff to set me in panic mode as i had already placed an order. I contacted these fellas and initially a support guy was rude by saying he couldn't cancel the order as it had already been shipped..this he said even without checking or requesting for my Order No. I was so disappointed and wanted to call again and check. This time around the guys were so helpful, swift and understanding that they went ahead and placed a cancellation on the order and now I have confirmation that my order has been cancelled. Only thing I am awaiting is to get my money credited to my a/c. I am so relieved now and given a chance again, I deftly would do business with these guys...It's just because the support guy i got in touch with second time around could understand my issue and help me I would rate these guys Excellent."

"i AM SO DISGUSTED WITH THE ONLINE ORDERING OF THIS COMPANY I CAN SCREAM!!! i ORDERED A ACER AX1200 ON 12/16/09. THE SITE INDICATED THAT IT WAS AVAILABLE. THIS MEANS THAT IT CAN SHIP OUT IN 24 TO 48HOURS. SO I PAID FOR 2 DAY SHIPPING TO GET IT FOR CHRISTMAS. MUST HAVE CALLED 7 TIMES BECAUSE AFTER 4 DAYS THE WEB TRACKING SAID IT HAD NOT ARRIVED IN THE WAREHOUSE. FINALY AFTER CHRISTMAS SOMEONE TOLD ME IT HAD TO BE ORDERED, SURE ENOUGH THE WEBSITE HAD BEEN CHANGED AFTER CHRISTMAS TO SPECIAL ORDER. i WAS SO UPSET. CALLED AND TALKED WITH ANDREW, HE SAW THAT IT WAS SHIPPED AND SAID HE WOULD EMAIL THE TRACKING #. THE WEBSITE SAID THE TRACKING # WAS SENT BUT I DIDNOT RECIEVE IT. "Worse store, I placed a order for JVC Camcorder, web site still shows as in stock, ready to ship.
Even after 10 days and 2 phone calls the item did not ship. They tell me the item is not in stock.
The item was listed on the website as "Available: Usually Ships within 24-48 Hours." The order status since I ordered has said "We are waiting for the item to reach our warehouse. It will be shipped out upon receipt. Customer service is a joke, the keep transfering your call from one person to other until someone actually talks to
you.
I will take the other ratings of this store with
grain of salt, none of the reviewers have given rating for any other store other than this store.

"This is an excellent place to purchase on line I never buy from the internet until this purchase. I have used a Sharp Convection microwave since 1984 and when I needed a new one I found no store in Austin,Tx that carried them. I called Sharp and from there I went to the internet and started looking I found cheaper sites but did not have a good feeling until I found Appliances Connection I called the 1-800 number and talked to Calvin,he told me that they were hard to find but he did have two so I ordered one ,the price was right in my process I had occasion to speak with Edmond then Bobby. These are really nice people to deal with. My experience with Appliances Connection has been prompt and excellent and all because of these great guys I have mentioned.They are a great asset to this company.

"Wow... I wish I would have seen this site earlier. I've had several bad purchases from dot coms in the past. However I bit the bullet and bought a Samsung UN46B8000 46" 1080p LED HDTV from 1stopcamera.com and it came just as promised. I ordered it on Monday and it was here on Friday. The quality of this LED TV blows my mind. It is way better than the old Samsung DLP that I replaced. I will definitely order from 1stopcamera again and will recommend them to my friends."
