"People, listen here. This is a legitimate business. They will ship your order. You just have to be a patient person. Is this website good for the holidays or for birthdays around the corner? No. However, this company is almost brand new, with a team of no more than 30 people. I ordered in August 13, and I received the order on December 3. I was completely satisfied. I ordered the Green Tea sweater, the USA hoodie, the sphynx cat shirt, and the trippy cat shirt. It came out to around 220 dollars. (in case you were curious). Was I scared at first that this was not a illegitimate business? Heck yea, I spent A LOT of money. However, I was just faithful. The online community and its backlash on 1991 inc did not help my confidence whatsoever, by the way. You must take to account that all items are made to order. I was stoked when I finally received my clothes, as they were GREAT quality, and had awesome designs. Some people don't really like the silky, polyester feel to it, but I do. Keep in mind that their sweaters and hoodies aren't the best to keep warm during the winter time, but it didn't really effect me since I live in California. I probably will buy from this company again. This is not a perfect review on them, however. Their customer service is pretty bad. Their reply to my one email was sort of BS. Yet, I'm going to repeat: please be patient guys. Everything kind of points to them being fake, but they are a legitimate business. Just wait. Plain and simple. If you don't like waiting, do not buy from 1991 inc. If you weigh the pros and cons of the business, you'll get awesome, unique designs, at a reasonable price, but you'll have to wait. That is enough for a patient person like me. Sort of a shame that such a new company has such a bad reputation already. Keyword: WAIT. "

"I bought this for granddaughter. It was sent to her house 3 months later. She didn't like it so I said I would pick it up when I came to visit 2 weeks later and I would use it myself. When I took it out of the plastic, I found that the sleeve had been sent to the shoulder revealing bunched white lining. I called and they refused to send me another one or refund me. They are very unreasonable as they had no problem delaying delivery of the sweaters(I ordered 2 the other was kept by the recipient) by 8 weeks. I highly recommend that everyone should stay away from this company. "
"I agree with other posts. Ordered 12/12/2013 for Christmas present and it didn't arrive until 3/10/2014. The sweater was very expensive (cinnamon bun sweater) and doesn't look a thing like the picture on line. It is reds and oranges and doesn't even look like a cinnamon bun. All sales final and now we are out $72. Do not order from this retailer!"
"Ordered over $175 worth of shirts for my son as a holiday present on 12/24/2013...Waited...And waited...Contacted company to inquire about my order in February, they had all kinds of excuses about moving to a new warehouse, winter storms, etc, and said my order would ship within 2 weeks. THREE weeks later the order still hadn't arrived. Finally arrived today, March 13, 2014 and all of the shirts ARE THE WRONG SIZE! I ordered all items in a 2XL for my son and the biggest one is a size Large. I am so furious I can't even think straight. Have contacted the company, 1991inc, to remedy the situation with a return but after viewing their return policy it states "ALL SALES FINAL". So, I can only hope that the company will remedy the situation by sending the CORRECT size or else I am out over $175 and have one very disappointed son. I will not recommend this company nor will I ever purchase anything from them again. Bad, bad business."
"I waited 4 months for a jumper to arrive from the States to the UK. AND it's made of material like a wetsuit or a poorly made rugby sweater. It doesn't feel nice at all. They also made me pay an £11 ($18) import surcharge that they mention nothing about on their website.
It took 4 months to get here. 4......months...dude.
What mode of transportation do they use to courier the jumpers? Is it by foot? Do they employ a really really old decrepit dude to swim the breadth of the Atlantic just to arrive on the shores of the UK and find out he can't scrape the import charge?
Also, their use of internet memes to garner support for your bitter tasting products is a gross misuse of humour. Please stop giving money to these people. Heed the warning of the other reviewers, do not get sucked in by their facebook page posting pictures of satisfied customers with their jumpers. I did, and I'm not angry at myself, I'm just disappointed.
