TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

"I originally wanted to cancel because they mis-advertised (email from them promoted a coupon code for free shipping until next week but they said it had expired yesterday -NOT TRUE, i have the email to prove it). They would not let me cancel even though I contacted them within 2 minutes of ordering (I only ordered because they kept assuring me they'll refund the difference manually once I place the order). Talked to 2 different reps about getting the refund and no help. They even went to lengths to make me wait 1 hour only to not help. No integrity."

Tiny bang for the Big Buck

"ordered a gourmet basket which based on the description and COST you would have thought would be substantial in size only to find it was big enough to feed 1!!!!! Very very disappointed. Will NEVER order from them again."

Horrible!!!!!!

"I ordered a sympathy basket for a family members passing. I picked out a beautiful basket online. It was loaded with fruit, candy, popcorn and and other goodies. I was ok with the price of $128.00 because it looked beautiful and worth it. I was horrified when my cousin sent me a photo of the basket. It was NOTHING even close to what I had selected. This basket was a reflection of my condolences and I was so embarrassed that my name was attached. I only wish I could attach a photo of the false advertisement that I fell victim to. "

Not worth $50!

"My daughter sent me chocolate covered strawberries and flowers for Mother’s Day. The strawberries arrived a week and a half early (suppose to be delivered with the flowers I received today) and half rotten! They were mushy and ended up throwing half of them away.

I contacted customer service for them to issue a refund to my daughter. No use because they don’t care.

The flowers from their sister site 1800Flowers I received today were stunning. Stick with flowers!

Horrible customer services

"Thassia is horrible wanted to argue with me about when my order was to arrive. Email stated 11/15, after paying $27 for 2 day shipping. Gift wasn’t going to arrive till the 16th. She did not think this was an issue. Until I got angry and demanded the shipping charges be refunded she didn’t not care at all and was rude. Didn’t seem to understand the importance of on time arrival. It was a sympthy basket for the loss of a family member."

They deserve a big fat ZERO

"I signed up for the Passport program that allowed unlimited shipping charges - which is only good if they actually deliver anything! First, flowers were never delivered for my in-laws 60th anniversary and when I contacted a day late (I had to ask my mother-in-law if she received them as I got no call from 1-800-flowers) and they said no florists in that area would take the order. No call, no information about it the two days prior when I ordered them, and no way to make it up on the their 60th. Now I'm on the phone because I made the mistake of entrusting them again with an important date (a friend's mother's funeral) and of course no order. Will never use this service again!"

ABSOLUTELY NEVER AGAIN

"I ordered the Congratulations Popcorn Sampler on Wednesday, 1/10/18 to be delivered to one of my friends on Friday, 1/12/2018. I place the order get the confirmation and everything seems fine. I check my email throughout the day and around 10 pm notice I got an email at 915 pm saying they tried to call me and my order can't be delivered on the date I wanted . So I call and confirm with the woman the phone number they have for me because I got absolutely NO phone call. She then proceeds to tell me the florist is closed and she can't do anything till tomorrow...well I'm sure they were closed at 915 aka the first time I was notified of an issue but ok whatever. (Side note I questioned her asking if they had the right order because she said they were using a florist since I ordered a popcorn basket but she assured me that's who they use) The next day (Thursday) I call and speak with a man named John who said he would work on finding a new florist to deliver it. Unfortunately, I had to hang up while on hold because I was at work but was happy (and grateful) when he called me back letting me know he found a new florist and it was set to be delivered on Friday. I made CERTAIN he said it would be delivered otherwise I wouldn't have hung up until he got someone who would make the delivery on the day I wanted. So a couple days go by and my friend hasn't said anything to me and as much as I didn't want to I had to ask her if she received the basket to which I was told no. This was on TUESDAY. I call 1800 baskets screaming and they tell me that its now apparently a FedEx delivery from the Popcorn Factory and they would have to transfer me to them .... uhhh so what about the two separate employees that told me it was coming from a florist even when I questioned it?? Why tell a customer something if you don't know if what you're saying is correct. (I know florists use FedEx HOWEVER they never said anything about it coming from the Popcorn Factory) I even told him he could pull up my call with John when I was told it would be delivered by a florist on Friday. The guy from the Popcorn Factory told me that my order was "stuck in the system" and not processed to which I laughed and told him I'll send him my bank statement since I was CHARGED for it. I told him the situation needs to be rectified and I expect a full refund and my basket to be delivered since we're almost a week late here. It is now Wednesday and I'm waiting for a member of management to call me back. From start to finish this was a horrible experience. Do not bother."

STILL waiting for my reorder!

"I placed an order and chose a delivery date when I would be home (NOT when I was out of town for a week with freezing weather). But it arrived days early, and was frozen solid and ruined, when I returned. I am on my FOURTH time contacting them to try to get this fixed. I was immediately promised a re-order, arriving the next day. Nothing. Then it was promised on the 12th. Nothing. Then the 15th. Nothing. Now they say the 16th, which is today. I was going to hold off on writing a review until I actually received the order, but who knows when that will be and so here it is.

I WON'T BE ORDERING FROM THEM AGAIN!

Unreliable

"I ordered a velvet cheesecake through 1-800-Baskets and was emailed that my order would arrive on my son's birthday. At 6:30, on the specified date, it had not arrived. I called customer service. The representative I talked looked up my order and said that it was in transit. She said she would call Fed X to find out what happened to my order and to stay on the line. I sat on the line for 30 minutes and then was cut off on my phone. I returned the call and then talked to Jack. He assured me the order was in transit and would be the by 8:00 PM. When it had not arrived by 8:15, I again called customer service. This time I talked to Christian. He said the order was in transit, but the order would not be coming on the date that I had asked for it to arrive. He offered to have it shipped a week later, as well as giving me a voucher for $20.00 for another order. I told him that this unacceptable since it would be a week after my son's birthday. He never answered my question as to what would happen to the cake in transit, why it could not arrive the following day.
I am so angry and disappointed with this company. They have completely lost my business, and I will also advice my friends and family not to use them.

"Awful. I ordered on the phone and then the mistakes kept happening. First, I never received a confirmation email so I contacted the company. Even though i gave them my current email address, they sent the information to an old, outdated address they had on file. I then discovered they had addressed the package using only the first name of the recipient. I was told I had to place the order all over again which, like the first time took forever due to the incompetence of their customer service staff (the constant refrain, "this will just take a minute" over and over again.) I never did receive the email.Finally, the package did arrive only there were two of them....the original with the wrong name and the re-order which also did not have the correct name. Luckily, the apartment number was correct. Now, I am concerned I will be billed twice and if that's the case, then I'll be forced to deal with Customer Service again.

As for the contents of the package(s), very disappointed and embarrassed. The picture showed the products surrounded by a few, unobtrusive fake green leaves which is fine. Ours arrived with a large quantity of green confetti overpowering the sad looking fruit and the small boxes of candy, etc.

I am regretting that I never checked reviews first. But I will never, ever order from this awful company again.

"This site is horrible! I requested a particular date and the product was not delivered for two days past the date requested, and when I called to ask why, they said they really have no explanation. I would never recommend this site to anyone! "
