"I placed the order that you can reference below on 12/15/2011. I had not received it until 12/29/2011 and I had paid for expedited shipping. I was VERY angry at that point because not only was the order 'beyond' late - I only received ONE of the two OS I ordered. I started a chat at around that time with your support group online - but what is important about my review here is that I ended up getting passed along to BRAD, who is in your Georgia 'office.' His email address from then on was ****@****.

Brad, from the moment I 'met' him on email, was so sincere and apologetic that I could not retain my anger, especially because what transpired over the next 'almost' TWO WEEKS was really all about Brad's willingness to spend countless hours correcting first the order and then spending about an hour or two every single day (almost) for the next 10-12 days doing EVERYTHING humanly possible to help me actually install these operating systems on the FAR less than ideal machines I was dealing with. Brad will remember me as the guy in NY who he spent countless hours freely giving his time and energy and effort to - because there were (indeed) problems not only with the OS (one didn't even have the correct license key) - but mainly there were problems with the Dell Optiplex boxes I 'inherited' from a University who was upgrading. He didn't just tell me that 'now you have the correct product and I've given you a shipping refund and a small discount.' He was driven, for whatever reason, to go WAY beyond the call of duty and help me figure out what the hardware and BIOS problems were with the machines I had until the point where I could actually install the OS I bought from Tek-Micro. It was probably worth hundreds and hundreds of dollars of tech-support that I otherwise would have had to pay for - or as he knew - give up on these older machines. He never gave up - even gave me his cell phone number - and even helped me during Christmas and New Years Eve! Seriously! He was and is the most amazing, kind, caring, knowledgeable tech support person(by choice not by role) I have EVER come across. Period. We had almost a little friendship by the end of the 10-12 days and he was cheering me for my persistence and I could never, ever, ever have done it without him. I wish I could publish an article about him and his spirit of doing the right thing no matter how long it took. It was beyond the right thing- because, as I said, he was under no real obligation to spend so many countless hours supporting me. I wish he could benefit from what I am writing here. That is all I hope for. Thank you Brad - you stand alone to me. You are the BEST."
