I spent hours searching for party supplies for my daughter's first birthday when I came across Wholesale Party Supplies. I finally found what I needed and was so happy. I picked all my items, gave them my credit card info, and placed my order. I was so happy... Until a few hours later when I received an email from them telling me they've cancelled my order. There reason was, 1.) the items you ordered being out of stock, or 2.) a quality control issue with the items on your order. When I placed my order, all of the product was in stock. Now I'm back to square one with no party supplies. I am not happy at all!"
"I ordered Dr. Seuss hats, plates, a personalized banner and bubbles for my daughters 1st birthday. Placed my order late Wednesday night and it was at my door on Saturday morning! I was impressed with the quick turnaround time! The prices were great and everything came just as I hoped! The banner was actually a lot bigger than I expected for the price! I’m very happy and will bookmark the website for future party supplies!"
"They allowed me to use their online return generator to return an item that is apparently unreturnable. When I pointed that out, they then said it was damaged, despite the fact that I asked to return it the same day I had received it, and sent it back immediately the next day (I had found it for half the price at Walmart). When I pointed that out, they then said that I did not return all of the item, also a lie, since I hadn't even opened the box. It was like they were grasping at straws for why they wouldn't make my refund. I then told them, well since I paid for it, give it back to me! Nope, they wouldn't do that either. And they wouldn't even give me an online credit. They finally agreed to a $10 "courtesy" refund! Really????????? For a $50 item? Screw them. "

"I ordered something and it came with missing items and when I called customer service to get my items sent out they told me it would come within the next two days which was suppose to be 08/17/17. I didn't receive the items AT ALL. I then called back to see what the problem was because I had gotten an email stating that my order was cancelled for some reason and they told me they would send it back out and I would get the items 08/22/17. I ordered these items 08/12/17 and paid for next day shipping and now I have to wait longer than expected. They have great customer service but they lie about their services and shipping and are horrible with sending out exactly what you asked for. I will NEVER EVER use this site again and wouldn't dare recommend it to anyone if it was the last party supply site on the internet."
"I ordered a mad scientist party pack for 24 which has a tablecloth, 24 dinner plates, 24 desert plates, 24 cups, 32 lunch napkins, 24 spoons, 24 forks. I also ordered a mad scientist party pack which has another table cloth, 8 dinner plates, 8 desert plates, 8 cups, 16 lunch napkins, 16 spoons and 16 forks. I ordered a mad scientist table cloth, lime green dinner and desert plates and orange beverage and lunch napkins. This is what I received in my box:
3 packages of mad scientist dinner plates

1 package of cups
orange beverage napkins
16 forks
16 spoons
And 2 Chuck E Cheese's goody bags I DID NOT ORDER!
So I was missing:

How does that happen? I called in to find out and was told, "I don't know?" I was then asked if I still wanted the items. Yes, I need them for my son's party! I hope they all arrive this time. Stay tuned! "
"This was my first order here. Never again. The order came with missing items, broken items and items I never ordered. Customer service is very nice....they replaced the broken items but then I waited for the missing items that didn't come only to call and then they told me they were out of stock. Not dependable. I recommend Oriental trading. This website is not worth the aggravation. "
"What started out as what I thought was awesome service has not ended that way. I placed an order and paid for expedited shipping because I need the items by Friday. I received an email cancelling my order for the following reasons 1.) the items you ordered being out of stock, or 2.) a quality control issue with the items on your order. I immediately tried to contact them to see which of the items were the issue and hopefully at least get some of what I ordered. But, the phone number on their website is not valid. I tried emailing them where their "contact us" is on their website and it comes back as invalid domain. I found another phone number which rang through to them and their customer service rep told me on their end it showed it was cancelled due to "Finance" which means it was rejected! No way. I have plenty of funds. He told me I would have to re-order, but now I was past the cut off time to get it in two days for $50, I would have to pay $90. I called my bank and found out the funds had already come out of my account and they even gave me the approval code. When I called customer service back, I was told it did not go through and debit my account, that was just an "authorization to hold the funds" which my bank said is absolutely not true. So where I'm at right now.... I have paid $214.10 for items I will never receive and will have to file a dispute through my Bank so they can follow up on what they're claiming which could take 2-3 weeks. I was told by customer service at Wholesale Party Supplies that a Senior Rep will call me when they review what happened. We'll see"
"Bought my Daughters first birthday party stuff from wholesale party supplies. com and didn't receive my entire order. called as soon as I checked the box. I was missing three packages of invites, and my napkins. called in and spoke to Mercedes. where she made me feel like I was lying about the items missing in the box! ARE YOU KIDDING ME!! was suppose to get a call back and haven't even received that! Horrible customer service. called back today and have been hung up on three times! I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! if I could use negative stars I would! I WANT MY ITEMS I PAID FOR!! Well come to find out after a week and a half of calling and no calls back I was finally told the items are out of stock and they will not be sending them to me.. again Are you kidding me. Why couldn't you tell me this first!! Now I'm waiting on my refund. we will see if this ever happens.. HORRIBLE BUSINESS EVEN WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE!!! "
"Don't do it unless you have 2,weeks for delivery even if you upgrade you will not receive your items intime... I tried for 2 days to reach Customer Support and all I could get a hold of was a "phone service" that took messages and forwarded them to supposed Customer Service who then basically sent out a generic email.
My issue was a UPS tracking label was created on the 10th and the package actually did not go out for delivery till the 13 th. In the meantime I tried on the 11th and 12th to reach "Customer Support ". "
"So, my sons 4th birthday is today and I have no party bags. While I am a busy working mom, I did plan ahead-- and paid extra for overnight shipping due to my lack of pre-planning. On Weds. (3 days ago), early in the morning at 6.15am, I ordered all the things I needed for my sons party bags-- including some really cute personalized items. The site SAYS these guys ship the day you order, if you order by 3pm. Well, they actually shipped it the next day, Thursday Dec. 1, which would still have been OK as I paid for overnight shipping. Unfortunately, they did not bother getting the box to UPS until 10pm on Dec. 1. So, guess what, it is Dec. 3 and I have got nothing. Do NOT trust these folks.
I called customer service and they say they will get back to me and make it right.... We will see. Considering my hourly rate of pay, the hours I am going to spend on hold with them and then taking around party bags next week to the various party guests, I am not sure how they will make it right. At the very least, a full refund (including shipping!! - which I paid $40 for to get overnight!!), though if I were them I would take the Amazon approach and really try to make it right by throwing in a gift certificate or something. VERY disappointed."
