"I ordered a Table from WendyUSA.com on May 19th. The Website said that the item will be shipped in 2 to 3 weeks.

After 2 weeks, I got am email saying they do not have this item and it will ship in a month. I decided to wait another month or so.
After 1 month I wrote an email asking for status. I was told it will ship by end of June.

All this time, they charged my credit card on May 19th even though they did not ship the item.

I asked again at end of June and was asked to wait till July 15th.

That was it for me. I asked them to cancel the order and they stopped replying to my emails.

I am working to get my payment refunded from my credit card after lengthy conversations.

Worst experience ever.

"I bought dining room set and writing desk from WendyUSA furniture couple months back, they provide the best price and service compare to other vendors. Both furniture were delivered within two weeks, before time. The screw on one of the writing desk chair leg was broken, so I call Kenny and he took care of it, he call the manufacturer and got me the new leg. I highly recommend WendyUSA furniture (Kenny) for the service and price."

"We ordered a desk which arrived in a timely manner and was perfect - no damage - when delivered. The customer service was prompt and friendly. Any emails I sent were promptly answered and I knew exactly when the desk would arrive. The price was the best we found on the internet. We were extremely pleased with the service and the product and would shop at this store again. Thank you!"

"STAY AWAY. Trust me - we ordered two "white" chairs quite a while back. They arrived today and were anything but white, despite the picture that was displayed on their web site. We got some story that they come from different manufacturers and items as seen cannot be guaranteed. If we wanted to return them, we would have to pay shipping plus a 25% restocking fee (rather high for a restocking fee). Essentially, from best I can tell now, returning the chairs would result in the loss of the price of slightly more than one chair. My current thought is to donate them to a needy organization and keep the paperwork for next year's taxes. It's financially more beneficial to do that than to return the items, pay the price, and then have them tell me that they arrived damaged. There is no independent verification. Think very carefully before ordering from this operation. Their business practices are questionable at best."

"I bought an 82" TV stand. They first processed the order then called to say that they didn't have it. Four days later they called and said that they had found one and they would process the order after all. The order took two weeks to arrive. Per their guarantee and return policy, the furniture needed to be inspected prior to accepting it from the delivery truck. The piece was completely disassembled and in a closed box that was about 7 feet long. There was no way that I could inspect the package to see if there were damages or if it was even what I had ordered. I called the company right away and told them that I could not accept this since it was in pieces and I had paid for an assembled stand. They stated that per their website Some assembled was required. This was completely disassembled and they agreed to send someone to my house to assemble it.
The following day they said that they could not send someone that I had to find someone to assemble it. I found a company that came to the house to assemble the furniture. It took them over two hours to assemble this. Wendy then offered to pay $70 dollars for the assembled. It cost me out of pocket $120 to have this assembled. WendyUSA then offered to reimburse only $100 of my bill if and when I send them the receipt of the assembled.
I would not recommend doing business with this company. Their advertisement is misleading and they don’t comply with their agreements. This was a nightmare of an order.

"Although I am rather ticked, I am going to put my emotions aside and give a fair review. On 03/05/2010 I ordered a dining room set and chaise from this "company" which actually shows up as "Metro Furniture" through PayPal and seems to consist of only one person named "Kenny." Kenny was very quick to respond to let me know that the chaise I ordered was out of stock and he promptly refunded my money. I was very impressed by this. My dining set was shipped on 03/10 and arrived on 03/22. The shipping took quite a bit longer than I expected but I was fine with that given the savings. All would have been well except the table top had been severely damaged in transit. Someone from the trucking company (Road Runner) ran into the box with a fork lift and HAD to have known they damaged the table, the missing chunks were obvious through the holes, but they chose to deliver it anyway. The box was also torn open in another area and the table edge was scraped through the finish. I followed the precise instructions in the email. I refused the damaged item. I took pictures of the damage through the holes in the box while the box was still in the back of the truck (there was no need to remove it from the truck, the damage was so obvious). The driver commented that he was sure it was one of their “idiots” that did it and he noted the damage on the receipt. Within the hour I sent the receipt and pictures to Kenny and called to inform him of the damage. His English isn’t very good so I couldn’t really understand everything he said, but I did catch that he was sorry and the matter would be resolved quickly. He then responded to the email with the pictures and receipt, instructing me to open the package because sometimes just the package is damaged and not the item (the pictures CLEARLY showed the item was damaged so I don’t know what he was thinking at this point, maybe he didn't even look at them, I don't know). I then reiterated again that the item was severely damaged and that it had been refused. He then proceeded to tell me via email that I now had to wait for him to “verify” the damage with the shipping company because I did not open the package...???? The package was torn open, raw chunks were visible. There was no need to open the package. He then proceeded to give me the run around for over two weeks, sometimes completely ignoring my emails interspersed with informing me that I did not open the package so he therefore needed to confirm whether it was damaged or just scratched (I thought “scratched” was damaged?), and if it was just scratched, he would send touch-up paint for them to “fix” it. On April 5th, I got an email from Kenny with the pictures he supposedly (and finally) received from the shipping company. The pictures consisted of only the superficial scrape on the table corner, a picture of the top of the table while still surrounded by the box, and not one picture of the gouges missing from the fork lift or the fork lift holes themselves. He then proceeded to tell me that the damage wasn’t bad after all, it was just a scrape and that everything was fine. I then sent zoomed in pictures of the fork lift holes and a picture of the scrape again and got pretty forceful. This was then followed up by an angry voice message from my husband threatening legal action. I ended up filing a claim with the trucking company on April 9th, almost 5 full weeks since I placed the order, but I ended up receiving an email later that same day from Kenny, indicating that he had finally sent out a new table top. I received it on April 16th. So, in summary, everything ended up turning out okay. I do love the table and the price was by far the best I could find on the Internet. Kenny was always polite throughout the ordeal but was pretty much a jerk at the same time, arguing against solid proof that the table was damaged and attempting to send me some wood-filled, touched-up piece of junk that I did not agree to. My advice is to order with caution. If you’re in a hurry, don’t waste your time. If you’re not and the wait is worth the reduced price and something does arrive damaged, dissect the box and take numerous pictures, close-ups from all angles, even if you’d have to be brain dead to miss it because I guess Kenny doesn’t insure his shipments or something and it is more cost efficient for him to try to patch up something than send a new one. Hope this helps. "
