Never again

"
Ordered a blazer. Wrong size arrived. Ordered another one. Wrong size again. Ordered the third one. Wrong size. Returned the 1st. Got $40 less in refund. 2nd and 3rd they refused the return. Customer service is horrendous. Clothes are overpriced and the quality isn’t good . Do yourself a favor-save money and nerves.Don’t buy from them

Fails to honor its own return policy

"My latest experience with Territory Ahead has been ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!!! I ordered two pair of Mission Chino flat-front pants, one barley color, one asphalt colored (along with two shirts) on or around November 25, 2022. The asphalt pants were on back order, I was informed, and not expected until February 2023. I received the barley pair in December. They were not the right size. When i called to return the barley pair on Jan 12, i advised the customer service agent that i spoke with that the asphalt pair that I had ordered would also be the wrong size. He told me that he would take care of it and they would send the correct size. The asphalt pair arrived on Feb. 17 but was the wrong size.

I called to return them and request a replacement on Monday, Feb 27. I spoke with customer support person named Harold. He informed me, after putting me on hold several times to try to speak with “management", that he couldn’t get hold of anyone and that he couldn’t send the return label without approval from “management”, even though Territory Ahead’s return policy as stated on the website is that it will accept returns within 60 days of shipping date.

It has been over two weeks since I began to try to return these pants. Harold has told me in several telephone conversations since then that he still hasn’t been able to get approval from “management” but that he is working on it. I also spoke to another customer service rep who assured me that they . A customer service rep should not even need “management approval” to honor the company’s printed return policy!

I have found several references on the web referring to Territory Ahead going out of business. Going on 16 days now, I suspect that I am just being given the runaround while the company is in the process of closing down. This is a a terribly unethical company. Don’t do business with it!

Lack of integrity

"I ordered several items online. I expected all 3 items in one package but instead received 2..the order form showed that the missing item was on back order..i waited and then called about the status of the missing item. I was told it was to be shipped separately. I called few days later and received the same response. Finally called April 29 and was told it no longer is available. Last night I reciecved an email stating this too. Why wasn't I told in the beginning instead of being lied to? If this is how the employees do business I have to hesitate in doing further transactions with this company..this action or series of contradictory actions demonstrates a lack of integrity. I cannot trust such a company. I wanted to continue doing business but my trust has been broken. Too bad because I really like the products but at this point I have to refrain from buying online. I even wonder if an employee took that shirt from my order. Did that happen? Hope not but I'm sure you'd be thinking that possibility. Mark Moronez"

Downward Spiral Since Greedy Corporate Takeover

"Placed order two weeks ago that was supposed to be delivered in 4 to 7 days. Called customer (dis)service twice. Was told I would receive it in 1 or 2 more days. Called Customer Service 5 days later and was told that order hadn't even gone out to the post office. TA asked if I still wanted the order. I said yes. However they sent me email confirming my cancellation. This used to be a great little company based in Santa Barbara CA, with great products and customer service. Now it has become (another) victim of greedy corporate takeover. Clothes are more expensive and less well-made. Customer service is a scandal."

"Buyer Beware! Customer service doesn't exist. If I went into the problem involving a refund on a returned product, it would take pages. The first two representatives gave me totally inaccurate information...not even in the realm of company policy (which I did not know) as if they drug them off the street and put a headset on them and set them loose on the phones. It took me more than two months to resolve the problem with my $117.80 being tied up the entire time! My husband has always liked their merchandise, but we will not be buying from them in the future."

"Beware! They have gone downhill. Their product quality and customer service used to be very good. But a recently bought shirt is falling apart after just 4-5 gentle washes (line dried) and their customer service is completely unresponsive after several attempts to contact them over several weeks. Apparently they are using poor quality suppliers and could not care less about burning their past customers."

"I love Territory Ahead. I have made many, many purchases over the year and for the most part very satisfied.

However, I recently ordered two items as gift. The donee didn't like them, so I sent them both back.

"Shipping" retained from the credit was $ 18.74!! These items were both small and very light summer apparel items. Very outrageous.
