"AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Ordered The Garrett Ace 250 on April 4th. Here is my e-mail message I sent to them:

I'm not impressed with your shipping methods. I placed the order on Monday April 4th, and did not get shipped until Thursday, the 7th of April. However technically its really has not moved from the shipping facility as of April 8th. Are you that inundated with orders that you can't ship the same day the order was placed? I will NOT be ordering anything else from you. You can count on that! Regardless of free shipping or not, the order should be taken care of immediately. Newegg.com has no problem doing this for me. Take 2 days to get to me from California to Long Island!! If newegg.com sold detectors I would have bought from them instead! I'm going to post my same comments [e-mail address removed] with more detail... Very unhappy with this order... You better hope to god it gets to me undamaged... May I suggest dropping the slow fedex, and pickup UPS as your shipping method. They tend to be much faster!

It's very possible that the package encountered bad weather en route to you. However FedEx delays are beyond our control, normally they are very fast we have had only 2 complaints in 15 years. I do apologize for the inconvenience.

So now it shows that its in transit. 5 days later!?!? Totally unacceptable!

I just got another e-mail on April 10th that my order has been refunded and canceled!?!? What??

E-mail from Them:

Then I replied with this:

Why would you cancel / refund the order when it was in in route to my location? Makes absolutely no freakin sense! I still wanted the medal detector, I just don't agree with your shipping methods! You just made this entire experience even worse, what the heck man!!!!???

So as you can see, it sounds like a scam! take a bunch of orders, wait a few days...ship, wait a few more days, Cancel the order, then a 10 day refund process.. So about a month of wasted time... Just enough for them to make some interest on my money and many other peoples as well.... I SMELL SCAM!!! Thankfully they did refund. I thought with the name metal detector store, I was getting it from a good vendor... Do your research folks!!!
