"The customer service is horrible and there policies are misleading and not always complied with. I made an order on Saturday (1/10/2004). I was glad to see that there web site states that most orders ship the same day, which was good since I was in a hurry for the merchandise. Monday I found out my credit card was charged. Tuesday they emailed me stating that they had no stock on hand but would receive a shipment Thursday and could ship out the same day. Thursday, still no tracking number. Friday I decided to cancel the order and buy somewhere else, so I called them in an effort to forego several days of email volleys since it takes them a day or two to respond. I get the feeling they go through a call center because the operator could not tell me the status of my order and had to send an email themselves to cancel the order. Saturday (a week later) I emailed them stating that I wanted my order cancelled. Monday I got an email back stating that the order had been sent down to shipping and could not be cancelled but that I could go through the RMA process and send them back, which was a bummer since I would have to pay shipping on two subwoofers (they are heavy). Monday (1/26/04) I received the shipment. There policy states “you may return any items you purchased from theZEB.com, for any reason, for a full refund or exchange”. Since I had the speakers I decided to try them out, I then reboxed them up and sent them back on Friday (2/6/04) RA#7522. They emailed me back after checking out the merchandise stating that there was a blemish and the items could not be returned so I asked if there restocking fee could be exercised in this case, they said no, this item is not eligible for a restocking fee. Today (2/26/04) I am receiving the rejected items back. I now have a lot of subwoofer speakers since I order some from partsexpress.com. I will not order anything from this company again. This is the worst experience I have ever had in ordering anything on the web. I have since been using PartsExpress.com for my speaker needs. BIG difference in customer service."

"They have an odd web ordering system but I have to say overall I'm glad I ordered from them. Shipping is a little slow but you DO get your items. The order process was seemless and I would order from them again."

"I've made four orders with TheZeb.com: Two amps and two sets of Infinity Kappas (which they no longer carry). My last order was over a year ago, but I just happened to realize they have ratings here. Anyway, all my orders went smoothly. The speakers and amps are still in my car, and everything sounds great! They respond to emails quickly and I had no problems with them. I will have to say shipping isn't *always* that quick...it took them a few days to get my last order out the door, but I contacted them during that time and they kept me updated on the status. At least they're honest and helpful!

My girlfriend ordered an amp from them just a couple months ago and their service was identical to what I was used to, so I know they havent changed. They shipped her amp in 1 or 2 days and responded to emails within 24 hours. The amp arrived flawlessly and works great. The price was great too, thanks to the Best Price Policy. It can't get much better...this is about all I ask for.

"Great experience with TheZeb.com . I wanted to purchase the CDT CL-61 speakers, but TheZeb.com offered a version with different paint for half the price.

Ordered at 5pm on the 5th of August, received the package on the 7th by noon with standard free shipping. Everything was well packed, and a full receipt came from email very quickly.

I will do business again with TheZeb.com!

"The price was great, but the customer serivce was horrible. They sold an "open box" unit as new, which is one reason why the price was so low. Nobody could tell me when the unit would ship until 10 days after the order was placed, when they finally shipped it. Even then, they couldn't provide a tracking number for the UPS shipment. The only proof of purchase I have is the e-mail from them when I placed the order. This might not be sufficient proof of purchase for warranty work; they could claim that I typed it myself. No packing slip or anything with their logo or letterhead was provided."
