Company Doesn't Ship Orders or Respond to Communications

"I've successfully ordered from this company over a decade ago, so I figured I'd support a small business. I received an automated receipt for my order, but never any tracking/shipping confirmation. I was still charged, although oddly less than my original order amount, so it is unclear if some items were unavailable.

After waiting three months, the items still haven't been delivered.

I tried using their contact form twice in the last month, but never received a response, not even in my spam folders. Then I tried calling their phone number during business hours, which rang endlessly and eventually disconnected. I was hoping to reach out on Twitter (where they seem active), but they have blocked private messages.

Since the company isn't interested in customer communication, I filed a dispute with PayPal for a refund, which was issued promptly upon me presenting my receipt and screenshots of my communication efforts.

Avoid this company at all costs.

"I placed an order for music over a month ago. No tracking numbers. No music delivered. They have a phone number which they say they answer between 2-6PST but tried for 3 days with no one answering phone. Sent three request for follow-up through their site-- no response"

"On 7 December, I placed an order online for three early music compact discs with singers.com, Primarily A Capella. The music did not arrive and when I called to find out the status of the order, I was told that the credit card had been declined. I asked him why he had not let me know that there was a problem with the card and he aggressively replied that I shouldn't try to shift blame when it was my fault for using a bad card. I told him that I had had no other problems and had used the card both on the internet and locally. It was so startling to be nastily accused of trying to use a bad credit card when I was just trying to find out what had happened to my order. This man said he was cancelling my order and hung up on me. Anyone who has watched the series Black Books would note a similarity between Bernard Black and this man. Black runs a bookstore but does not want to sell books to anyone and is hilariously rude to all potential customers. If you want to be treated rudely (but not hilariously) by a very unpleasant man, this is the way to go. If not, stay away from singers.com. Get your lovely music from a company that actually wants to do business with you, not from one that wants to insult you."
