"I purchased some thermal printable CD-R's from Q Media Store for a project I was working on. My order was shipped in a timely fashion and I received the usual shipping notification with my tracking number inside. So far, so good. However, upon receipt of my order, it turns out it was damaged due to lazy/cheap packing. Instead of wrapping the discs in something to protect them during shipping, and to keep them from rolling around inside the box, they placed them inside the box with a few bits of busted up Styrofoam. That was it. Now, since the only thing holding the stack of discs together was shrink wrap, the shrink wrap busted open since the discs had ample room to rattle about inside of the box while in route to me. Because of this, several of the discs were pretty scratched up from sliding against one another on their 2,000 mile journey across the country. I sent a polite email to Q Media Store as soon as I noticed the damage, clearly explained to them what had occurred and simply asked that they provide me with a return shipping label so I could return and exchange the damaged items for a replacement. My emails were ignored and went unanswered. After the second email, I decided things were going nowhere and I opened a claim with PayPal, hoping this would get their attention. But they neglected to acknowledge the PayPal claim, as well. I will never understand why any merchant would treat their customers this way. If they would have simply treated me with the respect I deserved and done the right thing, they would have earned themselves hundreds of dollars worth of repeat business, as I regularly purchase items just like this from online retailers. Instead, PayPal fully refunded my payment and I got to keep the merchandise as well, albeit about 10 of the 100 discs are unusable. Either way, I'll take it. Simply put, by Q Media Store lazily packing my order in random bits of scrap chunks of Styrofoam, perhaps in an effort on their part to save themselves money on packing material costs, it ended up costing them in the end -- money, merchandise AND a customer. Q Media Store tried to cut corners and in the end it resulted in costing them hundreds of dollars worth of future business.

Avoid like the plague.
