"This merchant deserves a 9.0 on price, it is hard to beat them. However, they deserve a 0 in "Likelihood of Future Purchases", "Shipping and Packaging", "Technical Support", and "Return or Replacement". A good price is not a good deal when you never recieve your item and customer service is non existant. Read on to hear why.

Please note this item says, "Ships within 1-3 Business Days." It should be noted the word "should" does not appear as this companies customer service department will lead you to believe. You can review this verbiage on their own web site here: http://shop.store.yahoo.com/letsgodigital/mdrnc20.html

The order was placed on 12/17 and the item was shipped on 12/29. Customer Service says back order was the cause for delay. Please review the following policy from the merchants own policies web site:
"In the event of delays, every effort will be made to contact you by phone, e-mail. If the delay is due to backorder, you will receive notice and be given the choice to remain on backorder, substitute to another item, or cancel your order."

The merchant made no effort to contact me and never gave me the option to cancel the order per their policy. If this option were to have been made available, I would have done so.

I have refused the package when UPS attempted to deliver the package, as I was unable to come to satisfactory agreement with the merchant regarding resolution to the issue. I feel I gave the merchant plenty of time to resolve the issue with me, I contacted them countless times with each correspondence ending in an agreement that the merchant would research the issue and contact me, however they never once contacted me. As the merchant has violated their agreements outlined on the item's web page and their policy page, I request a complete refund of the purchase price and shipping for a total of $152.58. However, the merchant will only agree to a refund of $85 after their penelty of nearly 60% for canceling the order.

Order was placed 12/17 after a phone call to
confirm item would arrive before Christmas. I
paid over $50 for 3 day select to ensure before
Christmas delivery. Item had not arrived on
12/22, so a call was placed to customer service.
Customer service informed me the item was
shipped, but they could not locate an UPS
tracking number and would call me back with the
tracking number, they assured me the item would
arrive before Christmas. They never called back
with the tracking number, so I called back again
on 12/23, again they assured me the item was
shipped, and I would have it before Christmas but
they still could not locate a tracking number and
they said they would call me back that day with
the tracking number. I never received a call
back from them, I again tried to contact them on
12/24 but could not get in touch with them. I
sent them a fax and email on 12/26 because they
were not answering the phone or returning voice
mails. I never got a call back concerning my fax
and my concerns were not addressed. Several more
voice mails were left on 12/27 and 12/28 which
were not answered. I left the address I gave
them to ship to on 12/29 and will never return to
it, thus if they ever do ship the item, I will
not be there to receive it. I was able to
contact the merchant by phone on 12/30. During
this phone call, they told me the item was
shipped on 12/29, which is a completely different
story from the first calls when they told me the
item was shipped on 12/18. After being told
this, I informed the customer service
representative that I would not be at the
shipping address and would have to have someone
ship it to my home. I gave the representative
two choices that would satisfy me, 1) to refund
the total purchase price including shipping and I
would decline the item when it arrived and 2)
refund me the full shipping price as I paid extra
for by Christmas delivery and that was not
delivered ... now I need to pay shipping again to
have someone ship it to my home from my temporary
address that they were to deliver to which I
would have been at if they delivered on time.
The customer service representative told me he
would escalate the problem and get back to me
within 24 hours, however I never heard back from
him. I have made further telephone contact
attempts on 12/31 and 1/1, however was not able
to reach anyone at this company.

"Bottom line, this company is out to rip you off. I wish I had read the ratings here first, but that goes to show you. ;)

I wanted to get some replacement belts for a vacumme cleaner. I found that had them for $2.75. I said, cool, I'll get 2 packages.

I entered qty 2, then clicked check out. I entered my address and credit card. I pressed next. and BAM -- 'your order has been submitted'. I said to myself 'that sucks, I can't choose shipping?'. Then I saw it. $17.41 for UPS GROUND SHIPPING!

I immediately emailed the company, telling them I wanted to cancel the order. I received a response on Monday:

Unfortunately, at this time your order cannot be cancelled because it is processing. Shipping does cover shipping, handling, insurance, weight and location. All shipping cost are provided before any credit card information is placed.

No way was I going to accept that. I spent the entire day on the phone with employees. I was told that the item hadn't been shipped yet, but would be shipping 'really soon'. I asked to speak to a mananger, and was told there wasn't one available at the moment. I asked to HOLD, and was told 'we can't do that, we can't tie up the phone line!' -- what kind of clown operation is this? George told me that I would have to refuse delivery of the item when it arrived and pay for shipping BOTH ways as WELL AS A RESTOCKING FEE. I asked George, "you're telling me I need to pay a restocking fee on something that hasn't even been taken off the shelf yet!?" -- he just about hung up on me. I ended up calling many times ;)

Turns out, 'Amy' the mananger who was supposed to call me back in 20 minutes, doesn't even work on Mondays. I was lied to over and over, told that the order could not be cancled, and that my only option was to refuse shipping. (Sounds very familiar to the stories below)

At one point I spoke to I *think* Rachel, who told me "Listen, it will just be cheaper for you to accept the package, so just live with it. Call your bank, whoever. Once they read our company policy, they will agree with us."

I called my bank, and filed a dispute with them. I got my money back from the bank, and Dealznet/Let's Go Digital will be having some fun conversations with my bank ;)

The item did ship on Thursday, but I called UPS and cancled it.

"This place is a sham. I ordered a Terk Satellite dish during the period that Terk was releasing a new model. Dealznet showed the new model which said, ships in 1-3 days. So I thought it was released and they had it in stock. Two weeks go by, nothing, no tracking number or anything. So call them and sit on hold for 20 mins. They said my order was on its way, which it wasn't. After several calls I finally cancelled the order which was almost a month by then. So they refunded my money, but then RECHARGED it back on 3 days later. So I called again to complain, and they said it was actually SHIPPED now, and I would have to REFUSE the package when it came to get my refund. After a week later, I finally got my dish I ordered. They should be called www.sleezenet.com. "

"A terrible, sleezy experience. I called to order a $10,000 plasma tv that was in short supply. I asked how soon it could ship and I was assured they had the itme in stock and it could ship within 1 to 2 days. I placed the order, then the high pressure stated. I was convinced to order a service contract, at cost, for $1000. Then I was pressured to buy several accessories with "instant rebates", I was then asked not to put the purchase on my amex card, but to wire the money to speed up the delivery. (NO WAY) I decided I didn't want the service contract - THEN I WAS TOLD THAT IF I DIDN'T BUY THE SERVICE CONTRACT THEY WOULDN'T SHIP BECAUSE OTHER PEOPLE WITH HIGHER TOTAL TICKES WERE WAITING IN LINE, AND AGAIN ASKED TO WIRE THE MONEY. I CANCELLED THE PURCHASE!!!"

"Ordered a CD Rack (Atlantic-4301-3). Ended up getting an Atlantic-4001-3. It's about $40 when the one I ordered is $87. I can't ship it back without spending 20 or 30 bucks to do it. I'll have to eat that charge too. I'll never buy from these crooks again, and would reccommend that no-one else does either."

"I ordered a Sony DVR-TRV830 camcorder, a wide conversion lens, and a extended life battery. What I received was a Sony DVR-TRV840 (OK because the 830 model was discontinued) a wide angle conversion lens that I did not order (wrong item) and the extended life battery. I asked about returning the wide angle lens and they said that they would not pay for the shipping and also charge me a restocking fee. It seems they could send you wrong items on purpose, get the items back and still make money. I don't think it's right or fair. I will never shop there again."

"The worst possible company. Do not ever deal with them. I should have read those comments below before.
I thought that that I ordered new item (they advertise that "ALL items are Brand New, Factory Sealed.
ALL items include all the manufacturer's supplied accessories and a USA warranty unless otherwise specified. 
ALL items are First Quality, direct from one of our Certified Wholesalers and are EXACTLY the same as if you purchased them from your local department store.". After buying I've noticed fine print at the product page that it is being "NOTE:This product has been factory remanufactured. It has been factory tested by the manufacturer.".
When I wanted to cancel. They said that They shipped the product. After two weeks I still do not see the product, no tracking number. They say that they send faxes to the "vendor" but do not get response.
I hope I will finally prevail.
PLEASE DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY.

"DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. I order things off the internet nearly every day and this is the worst company I have ever delt with! After 2 weeks of run arouns and delays they email me to say they dont have my item and that they cancelled the order.. what bunch of junk. I have read other reviews saying the same thing. "this is an awfull site to order from. I ordered a sony DVD dvp-cx875p from them with overnight shipment. After the third day of waiting for some sort of response, my friend, who was looking to get one also called them. They said that the product hasn't been released yet and wouldn't be for another 20 days. we informed him there was no information about this on the web site nor was there any information in the email they sent. The said "sorry". He also said, 'we have them in the warehouse waiting to be shipped now. I called back 5 mins later and talked to someone different to inquire about my order and she said it was on back order and should be recieved in 3-5 days. I told her that we spoke to another person and he said it hasn't been released yet. I asked her if they had them in the warehouse waiting to be shipped. She said "No". About an hour later I decided to look up the reviews for dealznet and saw the previous review before this one. So I decided to call them back to cancel. Which took 2 hours stright. 1/2 the time it just rang with no answer. the other half it would go to an answering machine. I got a person three times and was hung up on twice. Finally getting through the third time to cancel. I will be coming back here to inform if the cancel has any problems also. Lets hope not.

"I ordered a tv and dvd for my car. My friend has the tv I ordered already so I knew exactly what I was looking for. The order took 3 weeks and numerous phone calls to ship. I ordered the PLVW5M but recieved ( after three weeks) the PLVW5MN a much small screen. I am now in the process of getting the correct screen and must say that I will not be ordering from Dealznet again. FYI: they run Letsgodigital.com and Hypeaudio.com as well as dealznet.com"
