"When I called back after several days to see why I hadn't gotten a confirmation, it turned out PD was apparently undergoing some kind of software overhaul and hadn't yet gotten around to contacting my eye doctor.
I will undoubtedly run out of eye drops before my rx arrives because of this delay (and perhaps even further delay, because I still haven't gotten anything from PD).
I did speak to a person who identified himself as a supervisor; doesn't seem to have done much good. I told him PD should have alerted customers to the likely extra delay rather than leave them in the lurch. "
