Complaint Description:
This website claims to provide letters requesting dismissal of parking tickets issued in many major cities - "100% guaranteed". I signed up for an account, went through the submission process, and received 3 computer-generated "dismissal" letters. 4 weeks later, I received notice from the SFMTA that all my tickets were reviewed and were found valid. Therefore, I had to go ahead and pay the tickets. I know that I least one of them should have been thrown out since I provided documentation that I was not at the site where the ticket was issued (I had a receipt to prove it). Apparently, that evidence was not sufficient??? Since http://ParkingTicket.com apparently has a money-back guarantee (http://www.parkingtick...) I rightly requested a refund. Weeks later and I am still waiting for someone to email me or let me know how to proceed.. 100% guaranteed? I THINK NOT! They did not Respond to my several refund requests, there is no phone number to call or address to write a letter to, so no one can be contacted. They just take the money and there is no follow up if you request your refund.

Your Desired Resolution:
I am requesting a refund for services not provided as stated on the company website (100% guaranteed to have the citation dismissed) "We GUARANTEE your ticket will be dismissed or reduced or you pay us nothing" (directly from website!

" ATTENTION ALL: This parkingticket.com is one huge SCAM!!! I found this site and was also very excited. I filled out all their nonsense and what I got was shocking; it's a simple letter that any two year old can write. That's it. You think I got off? No Way! The guarantee? Doesn't exist. Period. If you read all of their crazy terms you'll realize that you have better chances getting money from the city then from these crooks.
But why waste my breath. I direct you to, two sites that I found only after I became a victim as well:

http://wcbstv.com/seenon/Shame.On.You.2.229571.html

http://www.dcmessageboards.com/lofiversion/index.php/t1217.html

Bottom line is, if there's such a blaring mistake then you don't have to pay anyone to find it, you can see it yourself.

"Overpriced scammers. They will fight any ticket, regardless of the circumstances (AKA: even if it is totally justified, and you have little to no chance of getting it dismissed.) The dismissal letter they give you appears to be computer generated often with the same generic BS defense. Per there TOS and the amount of time it takes most cities to process anything, it's nearly impossible to get a refund.

Also the way they're form is set up, it's almost impossible to enter the data, EXACTLY as it appears on the ticket.

I fought one ticket and was found guilty, and was never notified by the city or by parkingticket.com. That was over 2 years ago. And the best they could do was credit towards my next ticket. Wouldn't even apply it to a ticket I recently started fighting, and credit my card for that order.

The second one I started fighting with them, their dismissal letter was pretty much word for word what another user said he received and was found guilty. I decided to just pay it and avoid the headache. If I'm going to be out the money anyway, at least I saved the shipping and the waste of my time.

If you search on Google, you will find tons of dissatisfied customers, who were found guilty and never received refunds, because the paperwork required for the refund is never received by the customer, from the city, until after the deadline, per parkingticket's TOS.

To quote another user, "They're a bunch of greedy lawyers preying on people's emotions, when they see that overpriced ticket."

Even if you win, half price of your ticket, upfront, for a form generated letter is a pretty steep.
