"My daughter "had to have" a North Face for her birthday. Of course, the sale at the mall were out of her size. o2gearshop was the only site I found with prices comparable to the store sale prices. Boy, am I happy I took the chance on this purchase. Easy to order, got exactly what my daughter was looking for. No shipping delay either.

"The great prices grabbed me an I ordered a rain jacket to take on a trip to Iceland. Ten days later, with my trip approaching, still no jacket had arrived. The woman at customer service I spoke to on the phone was your classic zombie, "I don't know anything about it, it should be there soon". I asked her to cancel the order as I did not want the package sitting outside my home while I was in Iceland. She said she could not do that. I called UPS to see what the problem was, and they told me that per the request of the vendor, they delivered the package to a local post office, that would then deliver it to me at their convenience. Probably a cost saving measure for 02Gear, but a huge disappointment for me.

3/22/2013 In response to your response below, my frustration was with the Zombie on the phone. I also asked her why the tracking information stated UPS began the delivery, and then dropped the package off at a local post office several days later instead of my at my home. She told me I might need to go to the post office and pick it up. I was stunned that my "free delivery" now might involve a multi-destination walk, as I live in downtown Manhattan, and there are several local post offices. It was then that I attempted to cancel the order, and re-ordered the same item from REI. It was on the 9th business day after I placed the order, and after the tracking information indicated the package had been at a local post office for 8 days total (9/24-10/1), that the o2Gear packsage arrived and was refused."
