"The lasagna was just disgusting. There was an area 1 inch wide by 2 inches that burned. Had to dig it out and throw it away. Other areas burned also. Very upset with the product. Wont buy it again!"

"My husband's favorite meal... the steak and roasted potatoes, with green beans... they even came with fried onion rings... then something changed! the portion of steak and potatoes is smaller each time we buy one now... and the green beans are now plain... and the last 2 dinners? the green beans had a strange addition... neither green bean or stem... an unknown, and inedible thing? He still wants to buy them, as I said, they had become his favorite in between night dinner... now... not sure what is going on... any answers?

"I have been eating MC meals for years. Came to MC as a dissatisfied customer elsewhere. Recently I have noticed a decline in both the quality and the portion size of the meals I buy.
It appears to me that either Marie has retired or passed on; and her children, if she had any, have taken over her business with one goal: MAKE MORE MONEY. This is all speculation of course, but I’ve seen this same scenario in business for many years now. The parent/parents work their tails off, create a successful business with their name as their bond; then retire and turn their life’s work over to their children and next thing you know, the business is getting the kind of reviews i just spent 15 minutes reading. 18 out of 20 were negative.
I hope if Marie is around she takes her company back and restores the good name she built.
Another bad MC meal and I will be looking elsewhere, again.

"I normally love the meals, but my recent purchase of the STEAK & ROASTED POTATOES, NOT so much. They used to come with a green bean casserole that was GREAT. "I have been buying about four Meat Loaf and Gravy Marie Callender meals a week for the past year, when they had 2 slices of meat loaf. It is a very convenient hot meal to make for myself and that has not changed. They just changed to having a 1 slice of meatloaf which looks a bit bigger, but the taste has just gone downhill. I do not like the taste and therefore will not buy this meal again. Unfortunately I am in love with these prepared meals. Fortunately there is a fairly large choice."

"I just tried to eat the "Home Style Pork". Does no one at Marie Callender ever taste test these. Can't even say how bad it was. Only think that even tasted "real" was the corn, but the meat was so bad it ruin all the possible taste. I have bought Marie Callender dinners for years but all the "improvements" are complete failures. Sorry, I never try to complain, but now I hunger and I sure if I try to eat anything I will get sick!! "

firstof all the veggies corn on the meatloaf dinner was soooo hard and tuff no one could have chewed it!! had to pass that one up! my husband would not eat it!! mine was the Beef steak and Gravy and had the most horrindous green beans I ever tried to eat. second bite I had to spit out!!! meat was stringy gravy was good!!! so we had to give up on our dinner!! back to bread and butter/syrup!!!
Both of your dinners were totally unacceptible!! $10.00 worth of t.v. dinners down the drain!!"

"I was looking for a meal with an abundance of vegetables and decided from the cover "photo" that this would be a good choice so I bought the MarieCallenders Creamy Chicken and Shrimp in a Parmesan Alfredo Sauce. When I opened the box I was very disappointed as it was 90 % noodles and very few veggies. The picture showed 4 pieces of broccoli along with what looked like yellow squash. There was one very very tiny piece of broccoli and about the same size of yellow squash. There were a couple of very small shrimp and several small pieces of chicken. Even after I added a cup of peas I had it was mostly noodles. After I ate my peas, the tiny veggies in it plus the pieces of shrimp and chicken I was still hungry. I ate some noodles and then tossed the rest in the garbage.
I doubt I will ever waste my money on one of these kind of dinners again. Shame on you for misleading the customer so badly! Virgie Mayer"
