"Do not buy anything from Lightake. They took my money and did not ship the goods to me. Order Q121021104468 was placed on Oct 20th. I complainted and they told it was shipped on Nov 1st. Their tracking order program provided me with an update that my order was near my neighborhood one zipcode number away since Nov 17th. Today is Nov 30th the status did not change. Their tracking system either is not correct or it is factitious. Lightake did not return my email for refund. I am now contacting my Mastercard and complaint for ask a refund. Good luck if you buy from Lightake"
"The website describes themselves as "Perfect Online Shopping Experience." My experience with Lightake is the worst shopping experience that I ever had. I placed my order on 11/07/12. They were quick to take my money. I ordered a PIPO M1 Tablet, wifi version. They didn't begin processing my order until 5 days later. They indicated that the total processing should take no more than 3 days. When I asked about my order they said that it would take another week and suggested a replacement. I made it clear that I didn't want another product. After a week I heard nothing. I then threatened a request for a refund and a bad review. They then said they checked with the manufacturer and it would be another 2 weeks. This was the first indication that they didn't have it in stock. When I placed the order it said that it was "In Stock" which was a LIE. I then learned that the tablet is no longer available in the China Market. I then requested a full refund explaining that I found another company that had it in stock. The email that I got back was a request to know the URL of the company that had it in stock, and No mention of a refund. I sent the URL and a second request of a refund. Tomorrow I will begin a dispute with Lightake through PayPal. They were not up front with me and the don't know what the word REFUND means. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH LIGHTAKE! Go elsewhere.
UPDATE: 11/28/12 I decided to give Lightake a second chance by replacing the tablet that they said was no longer available with the Pipo M2 with the 3G version. They wanted me to change my review to positive. I told them I won't change my review until I receive my merchandise. They have to earn my positive review. We will wait and see how they handle this order. More to come.
UPDATE: After I made my modified order on 11/28 and paid the difference between the two tablets, they asked me to take out the above portion of my review or they would not send out my order. I responded with an email stating that I could not believe that they were holding my order hostage. They responded by saying that they would ship my tablet no matter what my review said. That was the last I heard from them. It said on their item description page "3 to 7 calendar days from ordering." It has been 13 days and they haven't even shipped it. My patience is running out. If I ran my business the way they ran theirs, I would be out of business. More to come"
"I know Lightake since PopBuying shop was over, and I am very satisfied with this Shop. I like to buy every type of merchandise there. Some items are amazing and all of my friends love them. They have very low prices and when comparing their prices with the prices I got in my town, for example, it it almost 5 times cheaper (check the Rubik's Cubes there and then in other sites).
They have a very good customer service, giving the attention we deserve when we have a problem (I never had any problem).

"I was surprised about the customer service from lightake. Been shopping in chines online gadget stores for a while now, most of them are ok, but sometimes the communication isn't easy, due to language issues I guess. I recently read some great reviews of lightake, so I've decided to order a cell phone and tablet from them. They've kept me updated all the time, they couldn't deliver a colour I wanted, so they proposed a different colour, and gave me a 20$ credit for it. The tablet I ordered on monday, and on wednesday I already received the tracking nr! Having shopped at dealextreme and priceangels before, to me there's a huge difference in the replies from customer support if you have a question, and in the response time after a question.
I will definitely shop more in the future, and will recommend them to friends and familly for sure!"
