"The item i bought which was stated as 'Returnable' as i add it to my cart, was later deemed to be 'Not Returnable' in the order confirmation. Since it turned out to be a total misfit, I asked for a return label and the customer service told me they will return it as a courtesy and then close my account.
Apparently, after spending so much $$$ with ideel, They didn't want my business and threatened me to close my account. It's the worst flash sale website out there.
New customers, beware about the customer service at ideel...there are so many better deal websites out there ... such as hautelook, rue la la, Gilt etc..

"Horrible, terrible, very bad company! Ordered a dress. Paid for expedited shipping. They sent a completely different dress. Their only response is return it, as they no longer have the one I ordered. If I purchased the dress and it was the last one, why don't they still have it? Did they send that one to someone else? Are they selling air and hoping you keep the other dress, that they can't move otherwise? It looks like trough these reviews that this is common practice! Stay away!"

"This is probably the 5th time I have wanted to purchase something from Ideel,com , and yet when I go to my cart and see the $9.95 shipping for 30days free added to whatever I wish to purchase, I get turned off and leave. Adding $10 (rounded up) to my purchase for shipping is not a good deal for me. I would rather not purchase something from this site if it entails that I must pay extra to have free shipping all month. I have tried to look for the least expensive thing on your site so that I can waste the extra $10 on that, and then get what I really want. BUT no that doesn't work. This a terrible promotion and I wish you would stop it so I can continue to purchase from your site.
I bet I am not the only consumer who feels this way or walks away from their cart because of the shipping costs. It's a bad business model. I want to pay shipping for 1 time purchase which usually comes out to half of that. But when I want to purchase sandals for $9.99 and with shipping it comes out to $19.99, no thank you I don't see a benefit on $20 sandals when I can get them at another site or store for less. And its the shipping that is killing sales.

"I am beyond disappointed in the products I have received from this website. About a year ago I purchased a pair of boots from ideeli. About 4 or 5 months into owning these shoes I began to notice severe deterioration on the soles. The sole began to become completely detached from the boot and holes began to develop. I equated this to perhaps just getting a faulty product so I decided to just call it a loss. Recently I purchased another pair of boots from the website. I couldn't imagine having the same bad luck! Boy was I wrong. Within five months of owning these new boots I started experiencing the same exact problem!! The sole is completely detaching from the shoe. I wear these shoes about once every two weeks so this isn't normal wear and tear. These shoes are practically new and they are already falling apart. I wrote to customer service to express how disappointed I was that two pairs of shoes purchased from their website are doing the same exact thing and I was basically given the brush off. Long story short, I wouldn't purchase anything from this website again. Their products are poor quality and customer service will do nothing to help you. I also have several friends that have experienced problems before as well."

"I bought a handbag which was claimed as 100% authentic Valentino handbag.

When it arrived the tag was saying Mario Valentino, which has nothing to do with Valentino Garavani, the famous designer.

This handbag is worth $50-100 and I paid for it almost $500.

I wouldn't recommend to buy any handbags from ideeli.com

"I have been using Ideeli for over 2 years now. I have ordered shoes, shirts, dresses, skirts, jeans, and many other items. I have never had a problem with returning an item. My one complaint is that they use the slowest UPS service, it can take up to 7-10 business days (1-2 weeks from the day it ships) for you to get your item. And it takes them up to two weeks to process your returns. That being said, all of the items I have ordered, including designer name brands, have been legitimate. Customer service is available via instant chat online and they are always very helpful and nice. I will continue to use this site."

"Buyer beware. I was a loyal customer for almost two years. When an incident occured recently with Ideeli.com I complained and instead of helping they told me I could "take my business elsewhere" if I wasn't happy. I asked to talk to someone else and the customer service rep said there was no one else to talk to. I find that hard to believe that they only have one manager. After insulting me and calling me "confused," the "manager" then deleted my subscription! I' shop almost 90% online only. This was an issue that could have been resolved easily especially considering all of the business I gave them. Never did I have any such encounter with a customer support team. The representative was insulting and demeaning so much so that I filed an official complaint with the BBB."

"I wouldn't count on them at all. I purchased an item 29 of Jan, and I supposed to receive it at 3 of Feb. I bought it as a Valentine's day gift. Today is 13 of Feb and I still didn't receive it. I communicated with them three times. First time, they promised that I will receive it soon. Second time, they said they don't know where is my package. After all, they send me an email with this respond
"We have notified the shipping company and they will be starting an investigation into the issue within 24 hours. Their investigation should be resolved within 8 business days and they may contact you via phone during that time." !!!!!!!!
Tomorrow is Valentine's day and they want to investigate and resolve the problem within 8 days!!!!! So I should tell to my boyfriend that he will receive his Valentine's day gift within 8 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is unacceptable for the online purchase site, which their commitment to on time shipping is the first rule to be successful.

"Ideeli is a flash sale website that carries luxury/high end items at a discount rate. I am not a member of First Row, a service that the consumer pays for to have access to sales an hour before they go live for $7.95 per month. I purchased a pair of Gourmet Quattro skate shoes that have a retail of $120, and on average sell for $90, for the price of $49.54 shipped. The shoes were excellent, shipping was within the time frame. I was very pleased with ideeli.com and will definitely buy from them again. "
