"At 400 watts ,it's twice the size of what I can find in local stores while costing less. ( 200 watts at $34.95 ). Plus the free shipping was a big
plus. It's made in Slovakia as are many of my ancestors (from Grandparents on back). The quality is exceptional. I have it in a 100 gallon freshwater tank and it cycles on and off regularly. The 200 watt never shut off and would last an average of not quite 2 years. I expect this one to last quite a bit longer. Slovakia is known for quality craftsmanship. With proper circulation, it maintains the set temperature."
