"Their site said "allow 8-10 days" for delivery. 11 business days (not including weekends or the Memorial day holiday)and still no package. I had already emailed before the 11 days and was told (after two emails requesting info) to "be patient...will let you know when it ships".

Well, not only did they not ship the item , they took the liberty of charging my charge card anyway. Evidently they didnt have the merchandise and never once mentioned it was on backorder.

They missed the shipment representation timing stated on their web site
They never notified me the item was not in stock to establish a revised ship date.
They charged my credit card without having the goods instock.

All three areviolations of the FTC Internet, Mail and telephone rule. (Something I know a alot about, since I was in direct marketing for 16 years).
They never initiated contact, it all fell to me to follow-up orthey'd still have my money and i'd still be waiting my items.

I cancelled the order and rec'd a curt email reply that they would credit me and to "allow 15 days " for it to be applied to my charge. No apology, no explanation for their failure and violations.
I have little confidence I'll ever see that credit.

I have notified the FTC, filing a complaint on line. This company is either disreputable, incompetent, uncaring, or all of the above.
